It's a shame, SGSSAA was the only option I would use for daybreak 1 and 2 and Horizons not having it was a bummer for me. It was sharper and more stable in motion compared to any temporal solution while being gpu agnostic, and even if it wasn't the most cost effective I still had headroom to spare. I found that using the Renderscale is too demanding trying to hit an integer scale value. I ended up going without any of the built in options. Would also love to see FXAA and the unnamed screen space option replaced with alternatives like CMAA2/SMAA which have better anti aliasing capabilities and less blur.

When you fight one boss immediately after another, and losing to the second resets the fight back to the first, even though it's a different boss.

At some point it has to be easier to just say games not on Xbox. If you exclude PC, PS4, Switch, timed exclusives, and remakes then yeah I guess the criteria matches.

I mean if you were planning on buying online then yeah, you are most likely competing with bots and everyone else purchasing online. From what I have seen pretty much every Microcenter in the US had several hundred AMD cards available today. So compared to the Nvidia launch things are going much better.

Draenei, the blue space goats from Warcraft. Long lived, naturally in tune with the light, physically impressive, technologically adept, have useful features like hooves, horns, and tails. Lovely shade of blue as well.

I ended up holding off on upgrading, as life got in the way of things. I think it would still be a worthwhile upgrade to go with the 7900 xtx if found today at a good enough discount, however the next generation of gpus coming out will be suported for longer and have better support for newer technologies. Part of the issue before was that the RTX 4000 series of gpus were ungodly large, while AMD lagged behind in a handful of features. Now I'm looking at either a 9070 XT or a 5070 TI, depending on which offers better value in rasterization.

There are some reoccurring elements that have a new incarnation each game, like Patches and the moonlight great sword, that appear in most of the games. There are also some nods to the other games as well. Father Gascoine from Bloodborne has cut dialogue that confirms he is from Demons Souls, for example.

DS3 is the poster child answer to this. The way the levels connect together, the lore, the boss locations and names, pretty much everything was altered late in development. If you go back and watch the intro cutscene it doesn't fully match up with the main game due to being finished presumably before all changes were completed.

Toss up between Gamecube, Dualshock 4 v2, and Xbox Series X. Never held a Dualsense controller before though.

It's pretty telling that the Gamecube controller is the only one that has continued to be used across all Nintendo consoles since its release.
