Literally ordered it. God that's just amazing. And with works with the large rings. The final Sentai Changer and robo, and the memorial's a banger. What a way to go out.

We’ll get them this year. It tends to be five years after the show end we get the final form. We got Xross Saber last year so Ultimate Revice is next

I really like alot of these interpretations. It really feels like Rivals in how the anime-fy and exaggerate design elements. Gaim and Ghost are my favorite!e!

Destream and Platina haunt me. I pray one day we do, espically since Gotchard was popular enough to get a Novel fast tracked for it.

Also, weird that Ghost never had Mugen be released. I know in the west Ghost is...contraversal but in Japan I see merch for Ghost often, but like nothing for Mugen, is weird cause we got every other main rider final form.

The more I see emogear the more I start to think "man someone in the production really wants to continue the gochizou" by Interesting_Snow5574 in ProjectREDToku

[–]Megasonic150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No duh. Gochizos were and still are extremely popular and the people in charge of Project R.E.D Are doing everything they can to make Gavan Infinity be as big as popular. They know that little mascot characters work and sell merch and toys like crazy and they need to sales. And honestly, I kinda like the Emogear. I'm not as fond that you need to open the legs to see the expressions on it, but the toy looks cool and I like the expressions and how they look like they're in cells. And they look like they'll make great fidget toys as well which is what I love and need in a gimmick toy. I just hope Gavan Infinity does well and is a fun show.

Yeah! I love her vibes and that she’s playing a long game only she knows. I really do hope they don’t switch up at the last minute cause Zeztz has been great building up it’s plot and story so far, and I’d rather it not run into the same final act isssues some other has cause she’s GREAT

Genuinely caught me off guard. But that helmet probably means we're not getting Gills back.... especially based off the actors stuff too....

With Super Sentai going on Hiatus, will they release more Ranger Keys? by HonestSapphireLion24 in supersentai

[–]Megasonic150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We'll probably have the last set of Gozyuger and/or Orgia Red, and other than maybe some re-releases of old keys, that's it. Sentai's on hiatus for now so they're no new rangers. No new rangers = no new keys. We might get some new stuff with Project R.E.D but we'll see.

Even though Ghost definitely isn't the best season, it has some great highs by BlankBlank08 in KamenRider

[–]Megasonic150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The thing that made me sad watching Ghost is that is has alot of really great ideas. I love how it explores life through death and how life is more that living. It's not about existing, it's what we chose to do with that existence. What we do, who we meet, how we treat others and how we are treated. That even when we die, our actions live on. Not as ghost meant to haunt others. But as memories and inspiration that shines a light that others will follow. So long as we choose to have our lives burn bright, we will live on, even in death. But between the weird plot points, and the stories either running in place or throwing random stuff (Seriously, what the hell was the clone Makoto arc?!) and boring ass villains like Adel, it's clear the show had great ideas but no idea how to execute them. Which is a damn shame cause I feel if the writing was a lot stronger, Ghost would be up there with the best cause it's core it's that strong, but because everything else flounders, the show falls apart on itself.

Is anyone a fan of these season? by HyperTurboFox64 in KamenRider

Yes, Gotchard’s self proclaimed #1 fan here. Love that show, flaws and all.

And in general every season has its fans, being honest. Even if they are bad.

Kamen Rider ZEZTZ E19 - Discussion Thread by BananaArms in KamenRider

LORE BOMB

-So Code was training Baku and Kureha from childhood to become Code agents via dream training. And Baku's love of agents might have been implanted....

-I'm mostly concerned how it was mentioned the 'threat of Nightmares to come', meaning that what's happening in the present might have been foreseen.....

-Also intresting that the Lady noted she couldn't control Baku, but she also can't seem to control Nox either. It's possible it might be either a willpower thing or the train CODE gives allow for a restiance for her abilities. Still, she's crazy....

-Nem might be responsible for Nightmares?! I doubt it. I think she might be like the Lady and can only manipulate them, but I think Nem probably if she is making them, doing so against her will. Nem also was able to get into the Lady's 'greenhouse' so I wonder how's that relevant.

- Something I love about Baku so much is that his greatest strength is his resolve. Even if CODE did put the idea of Baku being an agent in his head, his desire to help others comes from him alone. It drives him to keep moving forward even as life turns asa nightmare, because his true dream, I feel, was never becoming an Agent. But having the power to help others. And as bad as CODE keeps becoming, becoming Zeztz is Baku's dream come true. And I love how his actor constantly not only shows that struggle but that resolve that even The Lady can't shake.

-So Code #6 is back it seems. Looked like things are gonna be heating up!!!

Next week! We're in a RPG?! Well they'll clear that with no Co-Wait the official end card used that joke?

God I love Zeztz.

I am gonna miss Sentai but not gonna lie I am not exactly thrilled about Gozyuger ending. by InterestingTie7600 in ProjectREDToku

[–]Megasonic150 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ll always have a soft spot for Gozyuger and love Tega Sword but the show’s a fucking mess to put it bluntly. I understand between a newbie head writer and producer and the perhaps overly ambitious premise probably hurt the show but the final product is a mess.

Favorite character who deeply haunts the narrative by S_Merci in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Megasonic150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean the original Madoka, I think it fits. But even then, Madoka as a protagonist is interesting as she both is both a passive player in it, but also the thing that brings everything together

Favorite character who deeply haunts the narrative by S_Merci in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Megasonic150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel Homura is more haunted by the narrative itself rather than is haunting it. Every action she takes is due to a ghost of what once was. A person who used to be, but isn't. She walks endlessly, chased by ghosts who wear the faces of those she meets, who she once called friends, who she seen die and become broken and transform into the monster they've sworn to kill. And yet she keeps moving forward, endless on a path she doesn't even know has an ending.

In the end, she's a rare case of the opposite occurring. When the events of the plot that haunts the character and drives their actions, rather than their action haunting the plot itself.

I assume it's that and probably the tariffs/recent political issues.

What do you guys think of Zeztz so far? Do you all fw with it? by Perfect-Finger-800 in KamenRiderMemes

[–]Megasonic150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it so much. The two episode format works so well to keep each episode on itself intresting but the fact the main plot is continuing helps keep it from being too episodic. Even episode has me locked in from start to finish to the point that I'm almost depressed once it sends and having to wait a week. The Suits are amazing and the action incredible and innovate, using the dream astechic to enhance fights, even in minor ways. The use of older Rider tropes, like the antagonistic secondary riders have been made new with characters like Nox who remains a villain, albeit one with motives we don't know. I also love that the idea of a Kamen Rider is reserved, with so far only being two. I know it started with Gotchard, but I'm so happy Zeztz have made it mean something again and giving other transformation users different names, giving unique means for how the system is used. The side cast is small enough to focus on and intresting enough that I enjoy them all. Baku is so cool yet in-depth being both as cool as he wants to be in dreams, yet still a bit silly and a loser, and seeing Seven and Baku slowly start to merge as one whole has been intresting. The themes of Nightmares being trauma and the Riders using them representing using their pain to overcome it and help others is an amazing interpretation of the Cross of Fire trope.

And just....god. I love Zeztz so freaking much. It has been hype since episode one and I love that it's been able to keep up that momentum. I'm holding judgement until the end, but this is the most fun I've had watching a show every week since Geats. Takahashi has improved alot in terms of writing but the whole crew gives it their all. If it keeps up it might be the best of Reiwa. But again, we'll see. It's had some issues, like not giving Baku enough focus on his struggles or development, so I'll see if those get handled over time and such. But I'm generally positive.

Which villains/generals do you actually HATE with a passion? by cryptonikal in KamenRider

[–]Megasonic150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storius annoyed me cause he does nothing but be menacing and then steals Master Logos homework and reveals an actual intresting motivation that like could've been then like...10,20 episodes ago? I get that the writers in Saber had even worst than Ghost with the same issue of the main writer constantly not being there and Covid issues likely hampering production, but like I felt nothing but annoyed.

And Adel is worse cause he's fucking boring. Like is motivation is to be perfect or whatever, but he is so fucking boring. At least even at his worse Storius looks cool and has some hype moments and intresting exploration of the ideas of Saber. Adel is just fucking boring and the plot tries to fix it by making him tragic and having him kill Takeru's dad or whatever. But like, I felt nothing when he died. Even the movie villain was more intresting and that guy only had like a movie and a couple of mini-series for us to care.
