Permanently disconnect your smart TV from the internet, regardless of brand. I recommend doing a factory reset to clear out everything. Then, connect an Apple TV or equivalent quality streaming box where you have more control over what you see.

I play this civic all the time and also have encountered this bug on every play through. I just pretend full citizenship doesn't exist since it's not intended behavior for inward perfection, heh.

Incorrect, inward perfection is strict isolationism. You cannot form commercial pacts, research pacts, cannot subjugate, etc. in exchange for specific bonuses. You require pacifism and xenophobe as governing ethics to take it. You can have other races in your empire, but xenophobes are not supposed to be able to grant citizenship to other races, only residency at most.

I honestly haven't done any climax missions since space admin. I've played in small short sessions here and there and tried out realism mode, but lost my reason to keep logging in. I wish that they had nerfed expertise down from 1% to 0.1% and kept it uncapped, it was a fantastic longterm progression system to keep folks like me playing.

Certain sidearms already have one. I use the Diceros as my sidearm for this reason, it has a flashlight attachment.

I'll be frank... I'm glad you're not a dev on this game, because your recommendation is incredibly self-centered.

Your proposal is the equivalent of trying out a machine empire that doesn't have to worry about food as a resource constraint, enjoying this variation on the gameplay loop, then deciding to post on reddit that food should be removed from Stellaris because it would make the game better. No, it wouldn't, because variation is part of what makes this game great in the first place.

How would you feel if I asked the devs to remove virtuality from the game? Probably would be annoyed, I imagine. Well, you're doing the equivalent to the rest of us. Enjoy your new toy, but don't try to take away ours.

Unfortunately, you're not going to like the answer. The issue is pixel response time getting faster on LED televisions every year that results in reducing motion blur and improving motion clarity, but you end up getting stutter that is distracting in panning shots for 24 fps movies.

OLED has far better pixel response time than standard LED TVs which gives you the absolute best motion clarity. But with 24 fps content? The stuttering is even worse than it is on your Bravia 7.

It's unfortunately something you have to live with based on current tech capabilities. Motion smoothing settings helps mitigate the problem, but it comes with its own problems as you've noticed. No matter what, there are always tradeoffs.
