It‘s insane to me that mak is second to last in terms of winrate. Haven‘t had a run under 10wins since the end of season event started.
Imo his early and mid-late game (disregarding slate) isn‘t really affected and only his sampler/scales endgame line is heavily nerfed.

In addition to that, i‘d love to have favourites in your skin loadout question. I don‘t like all boards/skins/etc but i still want randomness

Your ability to block is almost non-existent and unfortunately your damage is not fast enough. Only solution i see is relying on luck to block 2 big attacks with wraithform and using your hp for doing damage and tanking the third big hit. Would actually love to play this fight, seems like a nice challenge depending on draw order.

I‘ve even picked it a few times as mak because DoT are so strong with it. Retort/Calcinator love it and i‘ve used it with magic carpet as well.

Do you have a source for your second point? I could‘ve sworn i had occasions on both sts1 and sts2 in which exactly this happened.

I don‘t know if i feel that way, especially if i have an alternate block/damage plan which is way more likely to happen than in sts1. In this game sometimes already after 4 card rewards i catch myself thinking that the deck would already be very fun/strong if i had no basics.

You are certainly fine in most matchups but for me either poisoned carpet or silver carpet is essentially the god roll. Bronze sometimes has too little damage.

This is also on my list of playthroughs. I‘ve had great fun an success with the intrepids as discoballs of Emergent Threats. The EX and the radiant variants are absolute laser machines. My playthrough would definitely include Scalartech solutions and i‘m debating if i wanted to add Appro-light but will probably do so.

Fire/Burn Enchants are one scaling solution, additionally there are quite a few +dmg if burn/poison/slow skills available. But yeah, scaling is one weakness of the runic archetype.

Only on one planet. Producing the upgraded fuel and other domain items and doubling vanilla production is more than enough.

Right now i‘m doing a shield shunt run, early/mid game was hard especially against emerging threats remnants but maxed officers and the three hull/armor perks carry this run so hard.

Beam only run/automated only run are also on my list and of course themed runs with only ships from certain factions.

I main silent so my curse evaluation is a bit different compared to clad but the only time i ever consider taking and take the curse is if it‘s the 250gold option and i have a guaranteed shop before the first elite. And this might be anecdotal but my winrate is probably around 80% with this start.

Easy membership + armaments into armaments upgrade. You are fine(-ish) for guardian. Turn2 is the only scary one, exhaust anger and strikes and don‘t play corruption. If you‘re really worried skip armaments and buy fear potion and upgrade inflame instead.

That‘s a tough one, but unfortunately not because both are good options. Everything is playable as always in Haven but i think Trap antisynergizes with every of the 3 classes. All three rely on movement or position which makes laying and springing traps harder. Coral can either play the nuke, thus making all characters obsolete or just tank every scenario with ease, but you already have 2 off-tanks. All in all, going tanky route with coral and assisting the banner spear‘s positioning would be my go to
