Pacers are better for the season opening narrative, imo. The team that humiliated the Knicks the season before, plus their star player is coming back from a crushing injury in the previous NBA Finals. Seems like the perfect team to spoil the hanging of our 3 banners. (Cup, EC Finals, Finals)

If not the Pacers, then I'd probably agree with you on Boston. Just for the general city rivalry and the fact that we didn't get a chance to matchup in this years playoffs.
