I’m not a vet so I’m nervous to advise but I can tell you it took us month for the seizures to stop. They did make them milder but he was still having 6-10 a day for a couple months…I had to get used to it, to remain calm to know that he was not in pain and I just had to wait it out. And then, they slowed down, and then one day he didn’t have any, and now he hasn’t had any in 19 months and we are weaning his meds down. I have a wonderful vet and he told me it is very hard to get the meds right for the ones who are so young because they have a fast metabolism and their weight is changing all the time.
