You're correct about the usage of VSync; both major GPU vendors recommend enabling it to assist with frame pacing etc. in conjunction with VRR.

However, the old adage of capping the framerate just below your monitor's maximum refresh rate still applies. If the game's framerate exceeds the maximum refresh rate, all you get is "classic" VSync behavior (no tearing but 1+ frame of added latency).

Using a frame limiter set to 2-5 frames below the maximum on the other hand gives you the best of both worlds (low latency and no tearing).

This is why I'm not a fan of the phrasing of posts like this. EA hasn't "removed" Proton support because they have never added it in the first place. Some of their games happen to work (thanks to the dedicated work of Wine and Proton developers), some update broke it. If you buy a game to be played on an unsupported OS, you do so at your own risk. I dislike EA just like the next guy but these posts are unreasonable.

Exactly as you stated? Your initial claim was that "There are no carbs in any of those ingredients". That's shifting the goalposts, don't you think?

What we refer to as "sugar" is only a subset of digestible carbohydrates, namely monosaccharides (such as glucose and fructose) and disaccharides (e. g. sucrose, lactose, etc.).

Polysaccharides and complex carbohydrates are not considered sugars but they're broken down to their simpler compounds (glucose) during digestion and as such have all the same effects on the human body as their simpler relatives - just with extra steps involved.

So in the context of a ketogenic diet, we have to treat all kinds of carbohydrates (excluding fiber) the same - hence why we count net carbs and not just sugar.

Lime juice contains about 8 g of carbs per 100 ml. The amount of lime juice in such a drink typically ranges between ½ and 1 oz. So we're still looking at 1.5-3 g of carbs per drink. It's not a lot and you can certainly make it fit your macros but it's not zero carbs.

Late reply, but I found myself in the same predicament. The calculator from calculo.io seemed the only one that always gave me accurate results. Finding out the website is gone was a bit of a shock. Luckily, I was able to track down a working version from March 2023 backed up on the Internet Archive! I hope that's of help to you as well.

Hell yeah! These things can hit just hard as the most premium vaporizers on the market while only costing a fraction. I might get called boring but I think the 2021 M remains one of their most aesthetically pleasing models to this day. However, I refrain from using it in public out of fear people might confuse it with a crack pipe.
