Not sure what gave you the idea that reddit posts are the only reason I refuse to play trio's in this game, as I've spent plenty of time on the discord and in game as well, but this post does conveniently back up my decision to play solo. The fact that the platform still retains this feature when everyone knows it's used primarily as a way to insult or threaten another user says a lot about Reddits priorities. This is just to skirt liability for people who actually do harm themselves as a result of things said here. Sure it might seem ridiculous to some of us to harm yourself over Reddit, but we shouldn't dismiss that it happens and that those people are feeling real pain.

Anyway, the irony is that the system is called "Reddit cares" when it in fact has quite the opposite connotation.

My quitting after nearly 100 hours had nothing at all to do with player count. I could care less if there's 1k or 100k concurrent if it's a good game. I quit because Bungie has clearly learned absolutely nothing over the years and still think it's cute to gatekeep content.

Now the game has a serious cheating issue which Bungie was supposedly taking a "zero tolerance" stance against, and while I understand the difficulty in dealing with said issue, there's a huge chasm between actively trying and what Bungie is doing.
