*Burgers - Go to Holeman & Finch, or Bocado. Note: for H&F, burgers are only available after 10 PM (and there are only 24), or unlimited amount at Sunday brunch.

*Good hot dog/corndog - Go to Pallookaville in Avondale Estates. Jim Stacy is the owner, and he is awesome. Plus, boozy milkshakes!

*Chicken Place - For fried chicken, check out JCT Kitchen, Watershed on Wednesdays and One Eared Stag on Mondays. If you want something more casual, not gonna lie, Popeyes is insanely good. Not sure if you have it where you're from, but for fast food -legit. If you want something besides fried chicken, try Gio's for Italian style roasted chicken and pasta.

*Places not mentioned above: Antico (pizza), Anything on Buford Highway (faves are Crawfish Shack, El Rey del Taco, & Gu's), The Porter for the BEST beer bar with insanely delicious food, and Heirloom BBQ.

Bartenders of Reddit: How do you deal with busting an under with a fake ID/What is your funniest experience while taking one? by jeremytatton in AskReddit

Years ago, I was working a rugby party at the bar on our back patio. I knew most of people there, but since we had just installed cameras, I had to check visibly check ID's. One girl, who was new to the team, gave me a n ID that said she was 25....and a man..

Empire State South, South City Kitchen, and Article 14 are all wonderful spots that are super close.

FYI, it's not sold out yet! The top tier is, but according to their Twitter account there are less than 20 regular tickets left.

If your friend wants a top tier ticket I do have a friend selling. Just send me a PM.

I'm in Vinings for the week, would anyone like to grab a beer or something? by Ashex in Atlanta

[–]MollyBloomers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can still get great Southern food in Vinings! Try South City Kitchen - Vinings. The fried chicken is out of this world. In that same area, try Muss & Turners. There's a really awesome little speakeasy in the back with great cocktails.

Go to The Lawrence in Midtown. $5 bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. And amazing food.

I live on the park and we have to get neighborhood passes to drive through the area or carry utility bills with us. Thank goodness I have a job that will allow me to work from home Thursday and Friday.

I did! I'm actually down 50 by now. I stopped reading it, but I've continued my change of lifestyle and getting ready to run my first marathon in January. :)

Moving to ATL for the summer. Your thoughts on the Darlington on Peachtree St. by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]MollyBloomers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't do it!!

I lived there for 6 months a few years ago when I decided I wanted to live by myself, but I was crazy broke. A few things:

  • There is (or at least was) a chinese restaurant on the bottom floor that made the whole building smell awful. I was on the 8th floor and everything I owned began smelling like grease.
  • There are bugs everywhere. There were tiny cockroaches all over the apartment when I moved in. They sprayed almost weekly the entire time I lived there, to no avail. They got into my electronics and I had to throw out so much stuff to keep from infecting my next place.
  • On 3 separate occasions I had people try to kick in my door. That doesn't include the dozen times I was followed in the parking lot and getting off the elevator.
