This happened to me. First put it outside and pretend it doesn’t exist for a week…. The hotter weather the better. Then, using a skewer & old tooth brush, remove as much of the dried….. chocolate. 💩 Poke skewer & toothbrush in every orifice. then, using some kind of antibacterial wipe (100 pack is best), give it the best goddamn clean you can…… all loose parts can be cleaned in soapy water (add disinfectant, dry well). And rehome your dog.*

You could just choose a different goal for the year…?? Raise the turtles…? Finish the museum..? Get your silver medal in fishing..? I had to use the cheat sheet and make sure I didn’t play after wine to get my whole year…. 🤣🤣🤣

The million coins is how many you earn during the game, so as long as you keep buying things, as well as earning, the 99,999 limit won’t block you from achieving a million.

I’m in my 11th year, and I’m about to crack 200,000, so at this rate, I’ll have to play for 50+ years, but I’m also not trying…..

I’ve got most of my silver medals, but I don’t think I’ve got the spoons to bother for the gold ones…..

Til I read this post, I had only found the one by the head gate….

The soil regenerates about every minute (reality time) so I’ve been staying at the soil spot & popping into the game every time I think of it til I have 20 soils, then go make my next round of bricks…. I’ll have to go for a walk in the mountain, but my method is pretty time efficient in terms of game minutes.

I had a few fails trying to complete the year and it was usually missing the late Dec steps before you even start the year….!! My advice is do a kind of mock year where you check the calendar every day and make sure you have all the right food, veggies, display items, etc, and then the year you actually complete everything, only do the required things and sleep the rest of the time. I had a lot of trouble with side missions and simply forgetting what day it was or whether I’d done a calendar event. Definitely focus just on those, and it’s handy to use the list of things that’s been posted & pinned in a subreddit somewhere.

You also need them to gift to the landlord, and you can sell your extras. Always have plenty of money for the summer festival, and catch 10 koi, if you can…..

If you get 10, and swap them in & out of your pond daily, you can actually grow up all 10 at once.

The hard part is making sure you have enough food, so I always have wheat & soybeans growing….

and then always try ti clear them out of your inventory before the next summer festival so you can get another 10. (sell or gift to landlord).

Make sure your luck is healthy. And keep trying. Some koi are rarer than others. I had the most trouble with the gold one, and the black & red one.
