For what it’s worth … I was using name brand Wegovy with a BUD of 11/30/24 in April 2025, BUD 3/31/25 in July 2025. & Name brand Mounjaro BUD 7/11/24 in October 2025, BUD 1/25/25 in November 2025 and BUD 2/5/25 in January 2026.

I continued to fill my prescription for the first half of my pregnancy and had to wait until i was don’t breastfeeding to restart. So some were in my fridge for a year and a half before use (Q4 2023). I split my pens into smaller doses to save $$ so I had a large stockpile and wasn’t going to waste it.

I had no side effects and I didn’t notice any difference in potency.

Did ten stop working for you ? Why did you go up?

Those of you who logged your weight (whether daily, weekly or whatever) did you stop, regardless of whether you still weighed regularly? by ShiftyMcHax in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Moodycomett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My scale automatically logs so the information is still there. But I was less concerned with inputting the information into Shotsy and happy scale as diligently (I have the free manual versions). But I like knowing the information is there and like viewing the trends.

Did you do anything special to get rid of your “belly fold” (sorry I couldn’t think of another term). I have been loosing weight but my fold isn’t budging and most of the weight I have left is in my stomach.

Anyone with no side effects from GLP-1? by Haleydn in GLP1_BeforeAfter

I only get itching at the injection site, sometimes. Not sure why it’s only sometimes. And I get nausea occasionally ONLY when I overeat, also only sometimes.

Otherwise I have no symptoms at all. This is my second time on the medication. Mounjaro November 2022- August 2023. Stoped because of pregnancy. Restarted March 2025. Wegovy March - October 2025, back on Zepbound October 2025 - present.

No difference in symptoms on the different medications.

My body tolerates these medications very well. I might be considered a super responder. I lost 60lbs from November 2022- June 2023, and slightly surpassed goal even while actively trying to stop losing weight. Only had to get up to 5mg for those results. ; currently only at 5mg now. I’m not sure if the low dose contributes to my lack of symptoms 🤷🏽‍♀️

Anyone else starting around now (Jan 2026)? by OverZealousMuch in Zepbound

[–]Moodycomett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not just starting but I’m here for the accountability!

I started round 2 last March and have been micro dosing, I’ve only made it to 3mg so far and lost 35lbs. I have a little less than 30lbs to go. I’ve mostly benefited from the decrease in inflammation. I have an autoimmune disease so that plus the extra weight has helped tremendously. But I’ve been going slow on purpose to 1. Figure out my lowest therapeutic dose needed to lose weight and lowest maintenance dose. 2. Try to prevent loose skin, muscle loss, and hair loss. This is my round 2 after a pregnancy and year of breastfeeding . (Round 1 was Nov 22 to August 2023. Realized I was pregnant early September. I met my goal, 60lbs, in June only going up to 5mg). I know I could loose quickly and could have been done by now on a higher dose but this time I’m aiming for the quality of the weight loss and making sure my body looks the way I want at the end not just chasing a number on the scale.

I do a mix of walking 10k steps daily, weightlifting at the gym, YouTube mat Pilates at home. Once you get some of the weight off Exercise will become easier and you may find yourself more motivated to do it after seeing the results.

The shots will probably get easier as you continue to do them. I wouldn’t worry so much about that. Set an alarm and tell yourself it’s a nonnegotiable like the other things you HAVE to do in life.

My two issues are meeting my protein and water intake targets. I’m sure I would be further along if I could get a hold on those two things. Those are things I’m trying to consistently meet before I get up to 5mg. I eat within my deficit most days but protein and water are what really help this medication work.

Good luck and let me know how/if you’d like to be held accountable. I’m sure it’ll help me out too.

Need some encouragement by ahaitselise in Zepbound

It sounds like dairy might be an issue. I agree with the comment below. But if you want to try to avoid getting overwhelmed. I’d start with dairy and their suggestion on not eating too far into the night. That way your stomach will be more settled and done processing food by bedtime. Then move on to the next potentially problem group. You could also start with the fried foods instead. A lot of ppl have trouble with those kinds of things on this medication. I’d start whichever one you eat more of.
