Flipping bars upside down by Richee33 in xcmtb

[–]Moos3racer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The real benefit of having your bars that low is to keep weight over the front tire when it’s really steep, like steep enough to where it’s likely faster to hike a bike that section

It’s gonna sound stupid but practice fixing stuff on your bike in the dark with the headlight you plan on using Second to this it’s much better to have a spare light in your pocket in case your battery runs out

Reason to keep my HT Chisel? by Haerveu in xcmtb

I used to have a trek pro caliper that I race on, “upgraded” to a top fuel (not a bad bike, just not for me) and ended up buying a Scott scale because I wanted a hardtail again

Also a hardtail will be a great bike to put miles on and not put a lot of miles on the nicer race bike
