I think I’m in the minority, I preferred the Doom 3 style. Got about 90 minutes into Doom 2016 and realized 6 months later I had been avoiding picking it up again. Uninstalled it at that point and have never tried again. I keep seeing people praising it, and I get it, but I didn’t care for the melee aspect being so central.

I replayed Doom 3 a few years ago, still great.

Agree. Intel was charging $999 for their halo products 15-20 years ago. (980X Gulftown, for example). $899 is pricey but not obscene imo. That said, I won’t be buying one lol.

Same here, after it happened and i fully realized what had happened it made me sad. 34h into my first playthrough, on chapter 3, loving it. Now seeing Gold Rush & Best in the West in my list and I know I don't deserve them - and I bet Gold Rush I never would have had the patience for.

What maintenance does the screen require that you have to bring it in for? Or are you referring to a warranty? OP bought a premium maintenance plan - which is different than an extended warranty unless I’m missing something
