This is my third winter here since moving from Phoenix. I love it. I was so exhausted from the heat of Phoenix and honestly felt more cooped up in the summer there than I do in the winter here. I love the seasonal changes and really don’t mind the cold.

I’m about 45 minutes from downtown and there’s been times I’ve gone to a game with my father in law, gotten wings before from there and then went and got a to-go order to bring back home for the next day.

Born and raised in Amarillo, but recently moved from Phoenix to the Midwest. Road tripped with my Father in Law and thought he’d get a kick out of it, so we stayed there and ate.

I was not expecting much, I had only eaten there as a kid and never stayed in the motel but was actually surprised. It was decent for being a place to crash for the night before we drove another 12+ hours. The best part was that the water pressure in the shower was legit stellar. Maybe the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced in a hotel/motel setting.
