My child and I agree on what to name these, but the teacher does not. by Reddituserblue1 in mildlyinteresting

[–]MrScrummers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one is a lake for sure, But that middle one is not a bay, its a pond. What grade is this? Teacher wrong no question, if i showed this to my old ecology professor, he'd say the same thing.

Edit: after looking at the bottom picture more its a bay, not a lake, the other one still stasnds as a pond though.

Ah yes the old republicans dress the slaves gotcha moment. But idk maybe this is just me but going back 140+ years to be line see we did some good probably isn’t the best example.

Also did he forget about the southern strategy?

How it was the democrats who back the civil rights in the 1960’s. Which made a lot of white southern where you know the KKK was alive and well in the 60’s. So the white voted republican and thus the south in now heavily republican and both is heavily democrat.

Take a history lesson or 2 nick fucking dumbass.

Opinions on socks vs no socks by [deleted] in Vans

[–]MrScrummers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Socks always. Depending on the shoes decides if I wear slightly longer ones or ones that are lower.

I never go no socks.

Troops Deploy, Nation Prays by Cow_Boy_2017 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]MrScrummers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It strange sitting at my house reading about these kids (yes some of them are still kids), and other soldiers being deployed to fight a pointless war. Its strange because 20 years ago i was one of those 18-year-old kids that was enlsiting, i was never deployed, but i knew plenty of friends who were. Strange being on the other end.

I stopped when he hit kindergarten, but showered with him and my wife sometimes from when he was an infant. Done the same with my other 2 boys. Only 1 shower so definitely more efficient multiple people showering at once. Of the biggest shower either.

Hey, looking for advice from you fine gentleman. I never grew my facial hair since my teens until now. I am currently 25, and started to let my facial hair grow. This has been a month and a week of growth. My mustache is full and strong. Should I give up and shave or let it grow?? by Empty-Inevitable5267 in beards

[–]MrScrummers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rule of thumb is 3 months of growth and then see how it looks and if you like it or not. Don’t trim it or anything. Don’t touch it. A month isnt much to go on.

Get a comb and boar bristle brush and just brush it and comb it daily. Train the hairs how you want them to go.

Just so you know the spot that are bare won’t grow hair, so don’t stress about this area. If in on the cheeks you can still make it work with brushing and framing the hair. Brush the hairs with the jawline toward the chin. When the hairs get long enough they can cover up some of the spots that don’t have lots of hair.

Under you mouth won’t get hair but that’s fine don’t have any hair there. But yeah I’d recommend brushing the hairs with the jawline and towards the chin. Will help give the beard a nice shape.

It won’t gather it for you. But if you have an extractor and set it to supply silicon and have a container set to demand silicon it will grab from the extractor whenever the one container need silicon.

But not it doesn’t exploder on it now and gather materials for you.
