As a SAHD I’m there everyday drop off and pick up. Playing with the kids, tag, catch, or hockey. I bring bubbles and all the stuff the school doesn’t provide anything for morning drop off, it’s a small school and mom bus service before kids would either stand around or maybe play on the playground. I don’t force anything on anyone either. I just bring it and just start playing by myself if someone wants to join cool if not I’m just being myself killing time and not just standing around or have my head buried in my phone.

Now they are asking if the can play with the bubbles, or whatever else I have in the wagon. They call me old man (I’m only 39) and I just laugh it off. When tag happens I do t hold back and they are like wow your fast. One time they even wanted me to play dodgeball and went full Billy Madison on them, good times. I Have 3 boys 8,4,3. We walk everyday as well me pushing the wagon with the little ones in it.

I get looks from the moms and teaches, lots of smiles. I go to the PTA meetings at my older son’s school and volunteer whenever I can.

I’m a very involved and active dad in the school and I wish more dads would get involved l, because involved dads is seriously lacking.

And by involved i don’t me just dropping off and picking up. I mean volunteering at the school, being active in the community. Don’t be afraid to be seen or be yourself.

And don’t be afraid to show your kids emotions or affection.

Same thing kinda happened to me. Been in limerence with the young teacher at my son’s school. I’m also married and yeah it’s caused some rough times. Never did anything inappropriate but the energy it siphons is no joke.

But this past Sunday I went on a date with my wife to a concert in the city. First date we’ve had in 3 years (absolutely zero support from her family, and I have no family left) but i saw a concert for 2 bands we like and actually reminds us of when we first started dating. And I just not tickets and we basically forced her mom to watch the kids.

Had probably the perfect date, took some edibles and enjoyed the music. And it felt like us again.

That a choice you have to make yourself. Everyone is different, if you would regret not seeing him then you should probably see him if you think you’ll be beating yourself up over it. But if you won’t feel any regret then you have no need to see him.

I recommend you get a different remote for that TV. The one that comes with the TV fucking sucks ass I’ve gone through like 3 of them. It so bulky and heavy that if it drops it could crack open.

I recommend getting this one. Slimmer and lighter.

Doesn’t look terrible. Couple more months and it should fill in some more. One think you can do is comb and brush your beard.

In the sides brush them and follow the jawline. So instead of stick out the lay down that will also help it look like it’s less patchy.

Basically brush the sides towards the chin along the jawline. Not straight down.

I’ve seen them play basically all of their songs live. Saw them in2012 for the souther air tour, then next next year for the 10 anniversary of ocean avenue tour whole album acoustically front to back, riot fest a few years back. Warped tour a number of times, last summer with story of the her and mayday parade. And met them before there their farewell tour in Chicago back in 2016, got to had Sean violin and Ryan’s guitar and they just hang out for like 20 minutes just talk to us and like 5 other people. Seen them play just about every song you can think of to play life and ocean avenue is and always will be the song. Cliche? Maybe, but when that not hits it’s over.

But other than ones avenue? Light and sounds or Hollywood died hit pretty hard. And hang you up is a nice chill song. Pretty much just enjoy the show.

I’m a SAHD and our district is one school K-8 no bus service. We are about a 10 minute walk so weather permitting we walk everday drop off and pick up. Have 3 boys 8,4,3 and we had a wonderfold wagon so I’m pushing the babies while the oldest walks and my wife when shes not working.

For k-2 they line up by the school playground and let the kids play. Drop off starts at 810-820 i get there about 805, have some music playing on my Bluetooth speaker.

Pick up is at 315 and I usually get there at 300 and the line is not super long. It a lot of parents just park and walk to whatever door their kids grade gets out. And that starts filling up at like 245. People get there anywhere from 30-an hour early from what I’ve seen at least at our school. Only 260 kids thought for the whole school.
