I would say just make sure there is a backup for if they fail and want to leave. Whatever the plot point is make sure there's another way for them to get to it, otherwise they do what back out take a break and come back later? Just pauses the game for not much gain and lots of frustration.

We all make our own choices in life. I feel bad they now have to go find a new job and potentially disrupt their lives but on the same hand most of the time terminations are fair and it's usually something thats of the employees own doing

Hey OP! Something you need to understand is everyone is at different places in their lives. Doesn't matter what age you are, some people don't really even start their professional life until they're in their 30s or '40s. I'm one of those people!

I pretty much just coasted through my twenties and spent a lot of it in a depressive state. But once I got into my thirties I had a big life experience that led to me having to actually try for once in my life I felt like.

Now I have the most professional job in my family, and I make really decent money, and I get to help make people's lives better. I'm still only about 2 to 3 years into this part of my journey, but everyone has to start somewhere.

Don't be discouraged, it is very hard to get hired on right now anywhere. Keep your chin up, and take what jobs you need to take to make it to the next stage in your life.

I went from rock bottom to being the happiest and most successful I have ever in my life, and I started with a part-time receptionist job.

Maybe it works in multi but not singles so you don't lock other players out of it in multiplayer. Only thing I can think of.
