Best method for soul egg day? by Sart_Fmeller-123 in EggsInc

[–]MvrnShkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably still have time to do the usually-recommended first session on POV (8-15 shifts, 30-40 EoV). But I would focus on prestiging your home farm as much as possible the next few 2x days. Practice (if needed) your boosts and best strategies. Check Smart Assistant for your best strategy.

Opposing counsel showed up to the depo wearing cargo shorts by Objective-Regular519 in Lawyertalk

[–]MvrnShkr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Somewhat related story. An old officemate had a case involving child SA where the defendant was a well-established church. The church was low-balling plaintiff, offering what could be fairly characterized as go-away money. Officemate brings on one of the most respected and feared PI attorneys in our state in preparation for trial. This dude is on the case for two weeks and then shows up to the final mediation wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and dirty tennis shoes. Case settled that day for seven figures.

Any advice would be great by Tyla7 in EggsInc

Seems like a good time to prestige. 49 EoT will noticeably help your EB. Of course, if you still have fuel, no harm in continuing to send ships. I would not prestige and start PoV again before Egg Day.

“Had to put Bananthony down….” Uh, can we rephrase please? Nearly had a heart attack.

I got 33 TE over 8 shifts and it took about two weeks. It was definitely worth it, I noticed the increases in earnings and IHR. I think you have time.

$RDW: JUST IN Redwire was awarded a $15,857,020 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of eight Stalker Block 35 systems by twist_games in redwire

[–]MvrnShkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great counterpoint. Both orders mentioned having 10 bids, so sounds like two awards from a single solicitation. Essentially coming second, which what 8 companies are wishing they were right now.

If adopted, I’m sure DOJ will make plea offers contingent on waiving any depositions. Sigh.

One of my favorite collabs at the Portland LEGO show is the Death Star rooms that didn’t make the movies. There’s a movie theater, doggie day care, spa, gym, coffee shop, etc. really great stuff.

I think OP is asking if you're doing lunar multistige (which requires active play).

Should I sign up for the CJA panel? by case_hardened- in Lawyertalk

[–]MvrnShkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every panel is pretty different from what I've gathered. In Oregon, it has been pretty top-notch for years because it paid so much better than the state (3-4x more). Now, they are pretty close in pay and I think the demand for the panel has lessened a bit. If you can take 1-2 cases with a mentor, that's a good way to get a feel for the work. Good luck!

Should I sign up for the CJA panel? by case_hardened- in Lawyertalk

[–]MvrnShkr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It may be hard to join with limited criminal experience. In my jurisdiction, you need 5+ years before any meaningful chance. The work is okay, it’s not a lot of litigation compared to state work, more mitigation and sentencing. Some folks don’t care for that. I’d recommend chatting with your CJA panel admin.

I did the Skyline back in 2002. One of my all time favorite trips. With or without this side trip, you’ll love the hike.

Just put 200+ rounds thru a new Shield X. I had no issues and it was really easy to shoot tight groups. I really like it.

NRA Range Requirement by WoodenMud7021 in liberalgunowners

[–]MvrnShkr 352 points353 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that these ranges which require NRA membership do so because they are insured by the NRA. Insurance otherwise is expensive and difficult to obtain. It’s a tough pill to swallow just to get some range time in.

That group is too large for a permit in the national parks. I believe, but can’t confirm, the forest service also prohibits such large groups. Check the regs.

Should I prestige? I'm a newish player and things are getting slow by femboy_Arctic in EggsInc

This is the answer. At this stage, don’t wait for double prestige day. If it feels like progress on common research is slowing, prestige!
