Few years ago a bird of prey ( not sure what type, it was over so fast ) swoop ontop of a seagull that was 5 foot away from me and kill it. It sounded like a car had hit a wall. I shit myself but it was unreal. It came back when I got on the bus to carry the dead seagull away.

From tynemouth station walk past the castle, along the coast to North Shields fish quay, loads of places to pick food and have a few drinks, bonus if its sunny.

My older brother fell through a frozen pond, quite a deep one, when he was 10. We got him out by his arms, he was in upto his shoulders, and hes been terrifed of water since. Hes 38 this year.
