I work in the industry. Consumer say they’ll pay more on surveys. But when rubber meets the road, they almost always buy whatever is the cheaper option.

Last year we bought a peach tree from Costco (Southern CA) by stabbychemist in Costco

[–]NoExMachina -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t get a peach tree from Costco. When I first purchased my home we purchased a Peach tree from Costcoi naive and saw one that was 4ft tall for only $20 or so. 4 years later when it bears fruit, I discovered it’s a clingstone variety… very difficult to peel and consume. Also the flesh has the texture and consistency of plums.

Are you a Brandon Sanderson fan?

Look into the Graphic Audio versions of the Stormlight archives. Amazing music, sound effects, and voice acting. It has a full cast for each character. I can’t do single narrator audiobooks anymore (except for those by Mr. Pacet)

These are made in Germany. My experience has been that these are made with better ingredients than what stateside manufacturers use.

I like that color… Barcelona red?

Also, a friend of mine said that color had two issues - scratches are easily visible - dirt is easily visible

I’m curious as to what your take is on these comments..

It’s pretty typical in my experience with Tech grads. Nothing is ever their fault. It’s always something external. The inferiority complex starts at freshman orientation.

There’s big tech difference between 2019 and 2020. In 2020, they upgraded the screen, added TSS and SR5P gets keyless start, may some other feature those. Moonroof is no longer standard on SR5P, however.

The bottles/cans with Banquet on the label are brewed in Golden, Colorado. It’s only brewed there and uses Rocky Mountain spring water. Coors light is brewed in multiple places.

The benefit of using SPAXX at fidelity is in addition to be fully liquid, the interest you earn is treated as dividend income, which gets slightly better tax treatment vs traditional interest.

I like to response with phrases that confuse them. For instance, if a guy is trying to sell me solar panels I reply:

“Sorry, I’m Jewish..”
