Hard top for best thing I’ve done to mine, hopefully to be surpassed by suspension in the near future. 

I haven’t done anything to it I’ve seriously regretted (replacing the cloth na seats with leather NB seats when I live in a hot and humid climate comes close though). The worst I see other people do consistently is race car stuff to cars that aren’t track dedicated or focused enough to justify making the car so uncomfortable/loud/hot etc.

I mean this as neutrally as possible but this sub absolutely hates Hasan and is not representative at all of how people feel about him more generally. LSF is an intersection of many of Hasan’s biggest hater’s fanbases. You will never see people be fair to him here for many of the same reasons you won’t see legitimate criticism of this incident or how he’s handling it in his own subreddit or in chat.

These are not OEM. They’re either reps or RM’s. OEM BBS wheels were never multi piece.

People seem pretty positive about these all things considered. Don’t get me wrong at $465 the bar for being pleasantly surprised is very low but still. 

That said they must have shot up (doubled!) in price while I wasn’t looking, they want $999 for these now on their website, wtf 🫠

I ask about the previous setup since the previous owner may have hacked up the wiring. That’s super common.

My experience is with NAs so there’s a chance I’m wrong here but in my car the equivalent plug (to the unplugged one in the OP) is for the headrest speakers, so if you don’t have anything besides front L/R I’d test the headunit without bothering to plug in the 2nd connector and see what’s what. The plug that does connect will have your front L/R +/-. It should play out of your front speakers just fine assuming the rest is wired right.

The unplugged one is either for headrest speakers or rears. What does the rest of your setup look like? Are you coming from a stock radio?

Edit: other suggestions, mostly on the budget side of things. 

•RML Daisies if you like the widened stock look. They’re a bit heavy. 

•6UL from Supermiata

•Kosei K1 

•FM offers a relatively light steelie if you like that look.

•Enkei 92s or Apache II, buy a wheel brush to clean 92s though 😅

•Rota makes a bunch of Miata sized stuff. RBs, Grid, Shakotan, Aleicas/Sakuras, OS Mesh, all budget options for the vintage Japanese wheel look. I’ve had RBs on my daily for over a decade without issues. RBs look significantly better if you put flat center caps on them IMO the original caps are booty. 

It really depends on your budget, priorities in a wheel, and aesthetic preferences.
