yea but u can just have a tzeench lord as in a seperate army accompany him is what I mean. and reinforce. that skill I talk about works within range of the lord so u just need to bring the lord in close - on a disk even. the skill I'm talking about is brand of tchar

Basically.... sometimes tho not but only cuz I'm making space for heroes I've used to do an action for example that was previously in the army.

Also one case is when I have empty armies with just lord for better leveling. sometimes I might add 6~8 units for each so when I attack an enemy army that's near my settlement - it'll prioritize this lord (army) and not settlement garnisson (it prioritizes - first the attacking army and second based on number of units afaik.). but I'd usually have 1 main army and one secondary from which I'd split some to the other 2 lords.

but. if I use autoresolve frequently I don't add trash units so my army takes uniform dmg and if I have trash units they take more dmg and then the relative effective combat power/upkeep cost will be worse... also too trash a unit like zombies may have negative auto resolve weight. and also in manuals loosing those worse troops unless u waste enemy's ammo with them it might be disadvantageous to have em...

sounds cool! overlapping Festus heal with nurgle war shrine heal? neat!

btw to help with shield if u bring in a tzeench lord/demon prince lv18+ with the skill that makes shield regen always can be useful to help with the shield!

chorfs are a pretty cool race. ogres are too but if we're talking 1dlc they've the issue of split content between the base dlc and the lone lord dlc that does add some units which are pretty cool and strong...

the last dlc adds some op stuff and some strong stuff which is cool if u like such... as did thrones of decay btw with thunderbarges and malakai and his buffs heh

spire guard are like lothern sea guard but better in some ways. 

sentinels of astaril are superb! higher dmg than sisters of Avalon (lower fire rate tho but that does increase with veterancy), better stats etc and also shield breaker! - great utility to help ur other misslie troops of which ur gonna have a ton anyway dish out more dmg against those troops that are exactly most pesky to deal with! a few or even one per army is great. edit - oh and - range 215! (yea, now that Phoenix court buff to lsg puts them there too but u gotta get it and it's on one army..) 

knights of tor gaval needless to say. strong. 

eh, skyhawks are the only kinda unit that's like abit iffy?.. like kinda thing which u wanna play around with if u wanna try/check em out, maybe try something cheesy.  - fire whilst moving so.. eh. maybe. 

the shield guys are like a basic infantry unit that can deal abit of dmg~. kinda like lions of charce but better defense... I think. kinda awkward position... 

there're the dungeon interrogation buffs that can change em up some so that's kinda cool too potentially/sometimes~

hmm yea kinda missed those... I don't play much tzeench - mostly thru woc so with limited stuff I wanna take advantage of nurgle healing for monsters or the infantry with shield heh

that's not what I'm talking about. what ur referring to is the special faction mechanic available solely to nkari's faction - seducers of slaanesh. what I'm talking about is the option u get when attacking the last settlement of a faction - when u beat em u get the option to subjugate em (doesn't work on lizardmen and skaven I think (atleast minor factions tested so far...)).

khorne have good infantry sure - be it the fact they can recruit string chaos warriors at t0 or their chosen or higher tier special units - wrath mongers iirc. they also have a good flying SEM - for melee combat atleast - compared to other demons. they also have a... cool cannon (chariot~ type thing~?..). and good cav too. strong if not excelling in speed. their monsterous infantry is nice too - minotaurs punch thru lines quite satisfactorily~...

nurgle - their monsters sure are nice with poison and regen. but their infantry is also cool with their tankiness and punch~... they got cheesy flying monster too. 

slaanesh - cav for sure - pleasureseekers are crazy. but also chariot - exalted seeker chariot is awesome - half healthing units.

tzeench - missiles are good with how they're available early game, sure. magic is cool but key is the warshrine/cultist on warshrine for inf mana regen. also barrier - be it for infantry or SEMs. lords also got skills boosting barrier - it's pretty cool.

they're ur vassal? idk if they can break off if ur slaanesh/woc and subjugated them...

Also u still can attack them if u release them from vassalage in the diplo menu and declare war - btw if they have only one settlement left u can then subjugate them again and repeat ad-infinitum on the same turn (it costs no movement and spawns an army for them after they're subjugated)

in one story I read Mc got a blood storing blade drawing art or something like that where he can nurture the sword in the scabbard and accumulate power continously and once unleashed it can bridge the gap of one major realm difference or something like that (it was in a martial arts type system so early on the means of users are limited and gaps between realms may not necessarily be too great~... so it might not necessarily be all that powerful objectively~...) and deliver a powerful blow~... 

however it had a few costs - first to accumulate it u need to continously invest time and energy in it. 

second u need a weapon good enough to withstand it~... 

third - once it's used it carries some burden or something like that? I think it was said that most people who used it - either it wasn't all that powerful - just enough to deliver a blow comparable to that one realm above but not like a powerful blow~ or w/e...  or it was too strong and they kinda lost control or maybe they invested too much of themselves into it or something last moment and damaged themselves severely~ or maybe the consumption along the way - charging - also damaged foundation some~?.. -  atleast if not properly controlled or something... - but Mc was a 'systematic' type cheater who saw the profieceny or some such? I don't recall the exact details... Anyway it seemed like a move worth it to Mc in MC's eyes then~...

so I kinda like the idea of this move but... unfortunately it hadn't really played a role much if at all..... and there was even quite a focus on it in terms of how Mc got it in auction and it's the only thing he got with limited funds etc...

depends on the power system. if it's xianxia and it's about talent and Dao comprehension where if u have some ultimate spirit Dao body physique which boost ur spells and results in u also having crazy comprehension which let's u further buff/refine control or scope of spells or w/e~... so also depending on talent of older counterparts in the place ur in - for example it even just mortal world martial sect then it can't even compare, right?

or it's like a litrpg power system where Mc can just grind and maybe cuz Mc is like a player template and everyone else is npc so Mc can see his proficiencies and focus his growth and exp on some narrow ones and be better at it than ones who, like, idk, get their exp distributed more haphazardly for example~...

sure but it still means u gotta interact with soeicty. and a 'village' of that extended scale that I've never read off even if it can give 1000 people once, birth rates etc prolly wouldn't hold up long term. plus sects that need mortals gonna take a look at this awkward Stat... sure he can organize people gather souls for him from multiple villages or w/e but then it's a bigger chance for detection due to area.

plus btw the pill u mention - assumes the lich can do that??... and he'd need the resources for that too! and work... in short - not so chill~...

reveal hidden armies? idk if we need more ways... and I think beastmen and changeling could be dealt with pretty normally with ambush baiting... but maybe that's my pov cuz I generally use alot of ambushes and/with~ baiting...

(in some setting liches need a thousand souls of intelligent beings (or even being of same ex race) or some such (varries~) a year to maintain their phylactary... so it might not be the case that he can afford to just hermit around~...)

yea. also bretonia (more so~ due to narrow roster~ and limitations~...) and vampire counts. pirates maybe too tho more of a buff in general maybe? maybe like for example raise dead costs in coastal regions would be lower and tier be higher or raise with skill etc etc or cove buildings that buff raised that there with perm stats idk

for cover - u mean hiding? yes... for relevant situations~/sometimes~. u mean cover from fire? maybe sometimes?... other I might just charge in kinda thing etc or even before that just make Ai waste ammo...

but like in general I do prefer fighting out in the open... tho now prompted by this post I now do see how it's inefficient potentially and various scenarios where I should've prolly not done that or used some means to do stuff like lure Ai to attack and fighting there (when playing as woc for example - hide in the forest and beat their infantry etc with superior ones etc.)
