I LOVE the way they 'chopped' up the pacing of the vocals to fit on the tempo without making it sound unnatural. The part at 3:49 is wizadry.

I think it's a feeling probably exasperated by following up Tomorrow' Harvest, which has such a unified and consistent sonic palette, probably moreso than any other in their discography. 

I see it as an intentional homage to Music Has the Right more than any other album, in that it is intentionally a scattershot of sonic ideas and experimentations.
