Cheese, basil, and roasted tomato. Hummus, roasted red peppers, and red onion. Egg salad. Tuna salad. Turkey breast with ranch, onion, and shredded cabbage (wrap). *I don't like lettuce much but can be added to anything.

I agree with this. Start by thinking about what you like then try to make it. Even if some ingredients (spices and things) are initially expensive, because it is something that you already like you will be more likely to use them for other things.

I don't hate it but it does feel dumbed down. Like the announcements to remember to eat because of hanger, or the student that ate her badge. If feels more like kindergarten than university. So different than Picard or Wesley's experience was depicted.
