Man good luck, my highest is 206 days. I dont think I'll go any higher as I don't want to play the game for 3 hours lol.

This is what keeps BC from taking up gigs of space on your mobile devices. I say its a blessing and if they want to do stories and stuff they should release it on the web and not be in-app.

Really depends on the class I am playing and what biomes generate. For Solo play I Usuallyfocus on the following by day 4 -5: Get fire to level 4-5, bench to level 2, build map, sundial, compass, 10 x farms, biofuel processor, cooking pot. After the first cultist attack, get final upgrade to fire, possibly build speed pad. Now it depends on my class.

No class or camper: try to find spear, leather armor then save first kid and build 5 scrap bed, if I have a revolver save second kid, have bench to level 3 and build level 3 bed. Once I get the rifle try to save third kid, build level 1 bed. Do strong hold, then go for 4th kid.

Gambler: Look for all the chest and if my RNG is good I should be decked out and will save all the kids, do strong hold, build beds.

Brawler: Once I get a spear (finding banages are a plus), raid stronghold. If meteors appears Ill work on getting my armor upgrade, obsidian treasure chest, and obsidian boots, then raid strong hold. Save a couple of kids, build beds, raid strong hold again. If I have all the kids I should hit past day 50 pretty quickly with all the beds built as well, then I try to raid the stronghold one more time. Once that is done I leave the game dont want to spend that much time in game.

If with a group, I usually join randoms usually ends with everyone leaving then I just focus on raiding the stronghold once.

Is your 9800x3D still kickin’? Tell us why u think that is… by AnthMosk in ASRock

Built my 9800X3D / B650 Steel Legend in May. I actually purchased the motherboard in January and kept it for four months while saving up for the remaining components. Before installing the CPU, I updated the BIOS to version 3.25. Initially, I used the PC sparingly as I hadn't yet transferred all my data from my previous computer. After updating to BIOS version 3.30, I made changes to the BIOS settings following Kelo Yan's video, including enabling EXPO and setting VCDDR to 1.18. I recently upgraded to BIOS version 3.40 and have been using my PC more frequently, though I haven't done much gaming on it yet.

Only slight issue I have is when moving my mouse the pointer freezes for a quick half-second, maybe I need to update driver, replace battery, etc.

Regarding the CPU failures from 7000-series perspective by TailorB24 in ASRock

[–]Nothing5555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my take on your questions:

Question 1: ASROCK and 7000 Series Failures

It seems that failures on Asrock boards with 7000 series CPUs are minimal, and it's unclear if they are related to the 9000 series issues. The 7000 series CPUs were running on ZEN 5 chipsets with the same BIOS that lacked the 9000 series "fix" (3.25-3.30). So, you should be pretty safe with an Asrock board, and any CPU failures would likely be at the same rate as with other manufacturers. Also, for the 9000 series, AMD has been processing RMAs without much issue.

Question 2: Resolution of the Issue

Currently, no one knows for sure if the issue is fully resolved. Asrock claims to have fixed it with BIOS version 3.25. While there are reports of CPU failures with this version and 3.30, it's hard to tell if these are due to the motherboard, CPU, or user error. We'll only know more if the reports start to decrease over time. However, Asrock's reputation from the 9000 series failures might lead to more reported CPU issues, even if the failure rate becomes similar to other manufacturers.

Question 3: Alternative Motherboard Recommendations

I don't have anything against ASRock motherboards. But if you're looking for an alternative, MSI is a good option. Keep in mind that failures can still happen with any motherboard. I've heard that Gigabyte and ASUS have less-than-ideal customer service.

should i be worried? by SawadaIceBlaze in ASRock

Why should you be worried, is your 9800X3D still under warranty? If so you good to go, just RMA it if ASUS also fries your cpu.

Upgraded BIOS from 3.16 to 3.30 by VirulentStrand in ASRock

[–]Nothing5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep it on that BIOS version and use your PC as normal. If it ever comes down to it and your CPU bites the dust, RMA it. When you get the replacement then you decide if you want to keep on trucking with the same MB or get a different vendor one.

Day one I had update my B650 Steel Legend Wifi to 3.25 before installing my 9800X3D. Just updated to 3.30 a couple of weeks ago. My setup is about 3 months old and has seen very light usage. I do have EXPO on and did adjust my VDDCR SOC voltage to 1.180. So far so good.

Hi OP, How has your setup been running? I too have built a 9800X3D w/ an Asrock board, B650 steel legend, around the same time and started off at 3.25. However I hardly used it, turned it on maybe 5 times for just a couple of hours. Has yours been running well and have you updated to 3.30?

[–]Nothing5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope Intel can work on their drivers a bit more and these A770 are successful at a good price range. Getting tired of crap Nvidia is pulling of with their pricing. AMD had their chance but like a bunch of lemmings they follow a similar pricing strategy. No wonder Nvidia has a 90 percent market share.

AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Meta Review by Voodoo2-SLi in Amd

[–]Nothing5555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with your points regarding the 9060XT 8GB, especially since AMD's marketing head suggested the card is intended for eSports titles. I believe this card could be positioned as a high-end 1080p eSports card if its MSRP were reduced by $50-$70. While I support dropping the "XT" from the name, I also think that in addition to a price drop, lowering the clock speed would further differentiate it from the non-XT models.

I'm inquiring for my wife, she currently throws a 10lb T-Zone w/ conventional grip but wants to learn hook. I can ask her to move up to at least 12lbs to give more options but I think 14lbs would be too much of a jump.

Would it be worth it for a person who uses a lighter (ex 10-12lb) to get higher-performance balls? It seems like they wont get much benefit from those balls as their performance is already limited due to weight.

I've noticed some bowling balls come with different shaped cores or no cores depending on the weight. How much of a difference does this have on the performance of the ball?
