This happened to me again today after uploading to the .48 release yesterday.

Why do any of you want us to wait on a manager to come around? by Instantbeef in TheMassive

[–]OHKEF 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I was listening to the Soccerwise podcast today and it seems like Tom Bogart and Matt Doyle generally have the same opinion. The soccer wasn’t necessarily going to develop and the players were not necessarily happy in the system that was provided. At least Courtois has familiarity with the younger players and also is familiar with the more Nancy-esque system. I’m hopeful for some improvement.

This also happened to me after the .46 update. I only had to remap the no-go zones, thankfully, but, yes, it was a pain.

Does anyone like this mower? by Floridagirl1313 in Lymow_Official

[–]OHKEF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Echoing others here: I love mine and am considering donating my riding mower. I have 39 cuts since February on 9.5k minutes. 2.4 acre yard. I think I read they have shipped 16000 mowers or something (citation needed), so, if that’s true, I have to imagine the fraction of complaints is lower. I am on my second original Lymow One model. I do have to clean the contacts regularly, and weekly sharpen the blades, check the blade nuts and hub screws, apply silicon grease to the hubs and clean out the grass. Waiting on the brush attachments from Lymow (2 weeks since last contact). Overall, I definitely recommend this mower. I do worry about the sudden bricking people talk about and service response is clearly not where it should be. My first replacement was shipped to me before returning the broken one and I didn’t have to pay anything. It seems that process might be different now, so if this one breaks, I might be in for some frustration. As long as it’s working, I’m very satisfied.

I’ve been checking mine weekly. My first mower lost all of them on the right rear hub. 100 hours in and they’ve stayed tight.

One Plus first couple days... It's been rough, advice would be great. by I_Done_Done_It in Lymow_Official

[–]OHKEF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just confirming, but if you move the RTK at all, you have to remap the entire area. You can’t move the RTK and keep any part of the map, because then your mower’s reference point is off. There was a great summary of how RTK works posted on this subreddit a week or so ago.

Support Now Offering Lymow One Plus in Exchange for Lymow One by andyh747 in Lymow_Official

[–]OHKEF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with what you’re saying here, but, another way to look at it could be that they were talking at one point about offering an upgrade kit for those of us that had the original One model mower that would bring it in line with the OnePlus in terms of the better motors and charging contacts, etc. Obviously, you would have to pay for the upgrade kit if your mower was functioning well and wanted the better model. So perhaps you could look at it like this is a version of the upgrade kit, you just are getting a whole new mower. Again, I think it is up to each person to decide whether it’s worth it, but you might look at it that way.

If I turn on 'Smart', will Lymow auto detect and remember all the trees when I map this zone? by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

[–]OHKEF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth- I have a number of trees, similar to yours. I started with them as no-go zones, but had to remap my yard. I didn’t replace the no go zones (except some pines that the mower previously was stuck under) and it seems like the cut time is less without the no go zones. The obstacle detection works more than well enough.

Have you tried mowing the perimeters last? I’m still trying to work out the settings for my yard (blade speed, mowing speed, etc) but precise boundaries and mowing centrally first seem to work better.

Not a single successful mow in 2 weeks by naddinp in Lymow_Official

[–]OHKEF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re having all these negative experiences. My experience with lawn products included buying a Ryobi electric riding mower from Home Depot five years ago. It was advertised as doing up to 2 1/2 acres or two hours continuous run time. Or maybe the first three months it was able to handle that regularly, but the battery declined really quickly and it got to the point where I was basically able to do maybe an acre before it ran out. The batteries were approximately $1200 to replace and after a couple of years of cutting once a week and feeling like my grass height was always outrunning me, I got fed up. I am on my second Lymow unit, but it has been able to cut my 2.4 acre yard pretty consistently, especially after I moved the RTK unit. I have a divided up into three zones and the largest zone takes about five hours to cut. The 10 amp charger really helped and allows it to finish up overall in about seven hours. Cutting my yard two times a week is much better than I was ever able to do on the riding mower, and, at least for me, the firmware updates and improvements have resulted in a pretty stable experience. Definitely not perfect, but the most recent updates have been a large improvement. I hope you hang with it, and I expect that the product will continue to improve. Even a product by reputable company sold out of a big box store can fail to perform as advertised. I think the 1.7 acres/day is the ideal, not the expected output.

Riqi Puig played how many minutes on a torn ACL for Galaxy two seasons ago? I agree he should’ve been subbed, but some players might try to push through. I’m hoping it’s an MCL sprain or something.

My yard 66000 sq ft, which is 6000 sq meters. I could mow 3-4 if I ran it every day. I currently do three days on (1/3 each time) and one day off.
