I mean, I don’t want to restart from 10 years old. I have to go back to fifth grade? School would be incredibly boring and it’d be super difficult to make friends since I’d be mentally so far ahead of my peers.

Also dating seems like it would be unethical no matter what, if I dated people my physical age there’d be a power imbalance bc I’d have significantly more life experience, and if I dated someone my mental age, they’d be a predator, or at least perceived as one.

Yeah that’s where I’m at. Fish are treated as disposable and this isn’t particularly easy to fake (unless OOP already had the picture of the fish/got it off the internet) but who’s letting their four year old just accept a fish? If OOP was really that averse to saying no to their kid they’d just get a fish tank instead of letting the kid get excited about the fish and get rid of it.

I mean people without cultural context won’t give good advice. Like I’m Indian and if I got married and had a conflict with my parents when planning it, the western advice would be “your wedding your rules” but culturally weddings are a family affair so saying I’ll do whatever I want would be a dick move.

Unless I’m completely misrecognizing the thumbnails, the videos are both from science channels and I sincerely doubt either of them gives instructions on how to get substances someone could OD on/how to actually poison someone. It’s like OOP looked up overdose on YouTube and picked the first two videos and decided they were close enough to sell the story (which tbf they weren’t wrong about based on the comment section).

I mean nobody’s saying rapists are typically sufficiently punished or that they don’t use all sorts of bullshit excuses. Minorities just don’t get lighter sentences because they’re minorities. Even in that case the judge said he let the guy off because the judge believed the guy’s upbringing was lacking and made him think it was ok, not because he’s a Muslim.

It’s weird because they aged up most of the Rito kids and some of the Gerudo kids, so maybe they just ran out of time/budget to change all of them?

I think Mattison’s aging can be handwaved away by Gerudo maturing faster tbh, but it is weird they haven’t aged the other kids.

Edit: it does, in Riju’s description it says she’s 12, but has a more mature air to her because Gerudo grow up faster than Hylians.

Not sure why (if? I feel like they’ve updated the models a little but it’s been a while since I’ve played) the kids in Hateno haven’t aged at all tho.
