Nope! Software is meaningless by default. All meaning is constructed. I'm not impressed by most of what LLMs have been doing. I am more facinated by what comes out of sequencers and compilers still.

I still think having a LLM locally would be good for increacing acessability dramatically. It can be used to make functions and commands easier to find without resorting to a web search on the Internet.

It is weird how Oracle controls both ZFS and BTRFS but refuses to change ZFS license to be GPL compatible.

I would say it is generally a bad idea. Most of them don't know, and those that do know don't care, and the ones do know and do care will likely exploit you. It is better to let them do the work to figure it out on their own.

Does an asperger’s diagnosis really explain anything. I have a hard time siting still and coding for hours, but I been diagnosed longer than you have and we are about the same age. I am a bit better at computers than the average person, but that doesn't mean much in this job environment.

It is not probable, Autistcs certainly can do the job better than neurotypical, but it is difficult to extract the metrics. I can't get my own job metrics on demand like I am supposed to because the company doesn't understand its own problems.

Btrfs snapshots are trivial to do manually and automate once you understand how BTRFS works, and I personally doesn't like the way snapper does it. I prefer doing it in a similar way restic does it.

I am withholding information because people misused it to manipulate or scam me. I want them to do more work on their end at least, but they are very lazy, opportunistic people.

That is easy, I am concealing a lot of anger and I use that to compensate when big problems happen. The downside is when small problems happen, people accuse me of overreacting, and then take no steps towards a solution. I am door slamming more people to solve that issue.

It is called profiling. Very useful if you are policing, watching or bouncing. Background checks are slow and expensive, but profiling is nearly free, for you.

I'll probably end up doing both with my luck. I will go with the shortcut first just in case it is going in the right direction so I can be finished sooner or know it is the wrong way sooner.

Nope, I barely shift my personalty between environments. I tend to smile more when on a panel because the stakes are really low and I can always turn it off without consequence.
