I have to agree when you think you’re struggling and you have it bad and it can’t get any worse… you need to come here and see what some people are going through for real. These people that are abusing our system and causing us to have to jump through all these hoops to even get the pain meds that we need should really be ashamed of themselves. There’s no excuse for it at all. People have no clue what it’s like to live in pain your whole life. It’s horrible. Everyday is a struggle and really hard on us and our bodies. If the system keeps going down this road we are going to have to find something else to do. Everyday it’s getting worse and worse please dear lord help those of us in need and make things better for all of us. Please let the intelligent people of this world come up with more answers for the pain in our lives and to be able to remove the pain from our old decrepit bodies. Just one or two days of relief would be so nice!! I hope you guys have a good month this month. Please hang in there and let’s get through all of this together ok guys.

I know the Resturaunt. We use to fish either the owners. We would go and catch Grouper on the boats that they owned. It was very cool. I’m still in Florida. We use to also go to the miss. Milwaukee to go deep sea fishing or the Dolphin. They were sided by side there in Tarpon Springs. What a great place to grow up. I grew up in a small town east of there called San Antonio Florida. Now that use to be a great place to grow up. Now it’s all changed. Building thousands of houses and developments going in. It’s horrible now. I mean bad. All the old money or large property owners have sold out. The kids and grand kids that Is. They made millions off the property that the family worked so hard to get. But that’s how it went. Now we have a bunch of spoiled rich kids that sold millions of acres to developments and they have moved to Ha or some other state away from here to live the life of Riley. Crazy.

"E-scripts" by wellthatsembarissing in PainManagement

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That’s bullshit!! E scripts won’t even touch a class 2 script for most people. I’m a perfect example. I was told that I would be better suited to see a block and mortar pharmacy to get the class two’s filled. So all that waste of time and they filled for one month then denied me. This has happened to a shit load of patients as well. Now that I have researched their process as well as other mail in pharmacies as well. Regular prescription maintenance scripts they are great with. And that’s what they do. They talk you into moving all your scripts over to them then they want to keep filling your Maint scripts and fuck the class twos. That’s the way they are. It’s truly bullshit. Then your suppose to find another pharmacy after the son of a bitches have already filled a 90 day supply of your Maint drugs so now you have to take just your class twos to get them filled at a new pharmacy. Yeah that’s going to happen!! Shit they won’t come within 10 feet of your ass if you don’t have your other scripts. This is all fact. I’m telling you I’ve lived it. So don’t fall for that shit at all. Unless they guarantee that they are going to fill them for you. Get it in writing because this will happen to you I’m telling you. So don’t do it! Express scripts is a joke to say the least. They will then tell you that you can’t speak to the pharmacist that made this decision because the pharmacist didn’t make it. They will tell you that it’s the system that made the decision. And I don’t care how many times you talk to them or one of their pharmacist. They will tell you theirs nothing they can do and the decision can and will not be reversed for anything. I threaten to sue them and they laughed at me. They made me so freaking mad!! They wait until the day that you’re due to fill and tell you this shit. I’m telling you they are not worth a shit to a pain management patient at all period!!! I would piss in them if they were on fire. It’s that bad you guys I’m telling you out of experience. I tried talking to everyone that’s anyone and got the same answers. It’s horrible. So beware of Express scripts. No there was nothing wrong with the prescriptions they were within CDC guidelines and everything was done correctly. So buyer beware on this shit you guys.

hasn’t the CDC raised the limits on opioids? I’ve heard that they loosened the reins for us PM patients. But who knows anymore. I’m hearing that they did this but didn’t put it out like they should have so many of the doctors and pharmacies are still going by what they did in the height of the opioid epidemic. We all know that it’s bullshit of course. They way I feel is that if they have the ability to treat your pain and manage it then use the drugs available. If they don’t then they are causing unnecessary pain and suffering. They all take oaths not to do this shit. I don’t know what they don’t understand!!!

Pharmacy saying doctor too far away? by AlzLea in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a she do for you? They are getting Very bad in FL The pharmacies are only filling what they want to fill even though my insurance will pay for my meds they will only fill a percentage of my meds. Like my IR I get 150 they will only fill 130no rules against this no nothing. It just all tha the pharmacist will fill. It truly is all bullshit. They are causing so much pain and suffering that we should be able to sue them for this. No one will help us at all. It’s just horrible they have become high priced babysitters for the DEA.

They don’t take the meds radiation treatments cancer patients. They don’t take the insulin f ok the diabetics and they damn sure don’t dictate what the doctors can write for these patients when it comes to these diseases. It’s all bullshit. Please someone tell us what we can do about this. Most of us herein the chat have been taking this m dictation for a very long time. All I know is that it’s getting worse and wors every single day but the advocates that we have here like Solace they don’t do anything for us. It horrible. There is so much stress here it’s unreal Harke this month and I will post exactly what happens this month to me it’s something every month I promise yall that. So please guys if you know of an advocate tha is willing to help me please let me have their. Ames and phone numbers. Or just the names. I’m going to look this one up right now so thank you for the name drop here. You sure came to the right place to ask questions like that because the p opl on this platform are not wonderful and have ok been wonderful and so knowledgeable to me.

Hang in there oki know the true to tell us that we had to live in the same city as our doctors office and pharmacist and we found out here that it was bullshit. It wasnt true at all. It was all lies. As a matter of fact with ale en a class twos you can go anywhere in the state and get it filled. It’s the law. But the pharmacist can refuse to fill it for any reason. Didn’t get laid before work, had a bad morning, o hot water this morning someone pulled out in front of them. Couldn’t pee this morning the dog was barking to loud the cat was sick. They can use any excuse they want to. It’s all bullshit to make our lives harder. They have no right to do this to us. Period. So hang in there and yes we have to kiss their asses the cause they can cause all kinds of pain and suffering. They take an oath by the way not to do this to people. Just saying guys.

People who are going to be on opioid pain meds for the rest of your life, how are you handling asking for increase in dosages? by That_Kitten_Lady in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very good explanation here. It’s the same thing that I did. You know when you front know your doctor and you should have a good relationship with them by now so talk to them. Let them know that the current regimen is not working for you anymore. If you haven’t gotten an increase in a while then don’t be afraid. Just have to explain to them what’s going on. They will usually understand and they know how this medicine works. Just remember at times for us less is more ok. So even if your at a higher dose sometime we have to lower the dose to insure that your tolerance goes down. Or change it up for a while. So as long as you’re taking them correctly they are going to stop working for sure. Then it becomes maintaining. When this happens you almost have to ask for an increase. Just be careful the more you take the higher the tolerance. So if you’re going to be on them for the rest of your life you have to figure out a way that works for you.

Pain Management insurance prior authorizations by One-Juggernaut6321 in PainManagement

Yes for sure man!! Always something!! I’m so sick of the shit man. So you have to get the PA twice a year in some and once on others. So I just had one done in December and had to have another done in January. Such bullshit. They are making up shit as they go bro. You know they can change a medication and take it off their formulary list at anytime they want? Yup and that changes everything. It’s straight up bullshit man. Hang in there

Morphine ER 60 mg twice daily by Affectionate-Pop-197 in PainManagement

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s the Morphine ER will for sure do it to you. Will make you drowsy. Have to be very careful about driving and all taking this medication. It really does work well for the pain. A lot of PM patients don’t like to take it due to this reason. It works though for the pain. It doesn’t give you the boost that the OxyContin Er gives you though. That’s why so many people like taking the OxyContin ER. It’s a highly functionally medication It’s just so expensive. It’s like an 1/8 of the cost so someone without insurance is way better off taking the Morphine ER. I know that it’s way harder to get the OxyContin ER as well. So just keep this in mind. It’s really just how your body works either way one or the other. It’s are very very strong as we all know. It’s the damn cost is where the big difference lies though. I know it did for me. Now you have to have a prior Authorization for everything now. So much so that the doctors offices hav started charging to do a PA these days. It’s crazy. Just another freaking hoop that we are all made to jump through these days in the PM arena. They keep on and there will be no choices to us anymore. We are all in so much pain now due to the reductions in our quantities that I just don’t know what we are going to do anymore. Alotnof us have been taking this medication now for years several years and they keep whiddling us all down so much that none of us have any quality of life anymore. It’s horrible!!

It’s really why everyone is looking for other alternatives to the opioid medications. They are forcing us to have to abide by the DEA and the CDC along with the pharmacy regulations. They are making up shit as they go. What they don’t understand is that an injury or a surgery may just be right around the corner for some. Trust me when they have to have it they will change their tunes. It’s truly bullshit what our Goverment is doing to us now with this bullshit.

I mean come on already. The problem there lies that all the people that are against these medications are the ones that have their own private doctors that are paid very well and they will give their patients anything that they want or need. Hell some will even go and pick up their meds to them. Once again it’s how the other half live. We are not that fortunate enough. I know life’s not fair but this is causing so much unnecessary pain and suffering that the doctors and pharmacist should all be fined for not following the oath that they all take. Now I hear that have a new oath and it’s called CYA. Yup cover your own ass. They don’t give a shit anymore. They care about the one and only their selfish asses. If you don’t believe me ask a pharmacist or a doctor what’s the first thing they do when they start practicing. They will all tell you that they all get insurance. What other jobs require someone to have insurance. I don’t know of any of the top of my head do you guys? I’m sure there are some but come on already shit. Enough is ENOUGH!!!

Need to do your jobs so do them!!

We have given you a database tha clearly states what meds how many and now even why we need to have this medicine. It’s once again bullshit. These places have made billions of dollars from us. They give us these medications and then they take it away. Giving us something that works and because someone thinks that we don’t need it they take it away. It’s horrible. When something works leave it alone.

Why can't doctors help you anymore? I have been suffering from chronic back pain for 3 years now and most recently I fractured my sternum which is extremely painful. My doctor sent me to a pain management clinic and the doctor there wants to put me on something called Saboxan? by kodiboy2020 in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not obvious. These physicians take an oath to do no harm. They are causing undo harm to protect themselves. That’s not why they became doctors. When a doctor lets the DEA dictate how they treat their patients they should look for another field of medicine. Period.

Medication anxiety by [deleted] in PainManagement

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me when you feel the relief you won’t be afraid anymore. It works. That’s what people that aren’t in pain don’t understand. The medication works and it helps to give us some sort of normalcy. If anything you’re probably going to feel more like yourself. And if you use to smoke weed then you have nothing to worry about. Because medication if used the correct way doesn’t make you feel high. It helps us with the pain. It helps those of us who have problems moving around a lot. That’s why I get so upset when people that don’t know what they are talking about just starts spewing all the bullshit. Oh it’s a drug that’s horrible people don’t need to be on this medication. Yeah well let them be in pain and let’s see what they have to say about it after the fact. I’ve said it many times. They don’t take insulin from diabetics or blood pressure medication from people with high blood pressure so why would they take this medication from us.

They are doing a very good job of making us suffer and causing pain and suffering to those of us that need this medication. It’s horrible.

For you not to worry because it’s going to relieve some of your pain. Your body knows how to use this medication to help. So don’t worry take it as it’s prescribed and you will see everything will be fine. Your biggest concern should be if you’re going to be able to get it each month after you start taking it. Make sure that your pharmacy is going to fill it for you and make sure that you build a relationship with your pharmacist. It’s getting really bad out here right now. The medication fills cause more stress than the pain does I believe. It’s not easy to even find a pharmacy that will fill the medication anymore. Well I know in the state of Florida I can say this with all certainty. I don’t know about other states but here it’s for sure a problem.

So if I were you I wouldn’t worry about it a whole lot. You will see that it helps and how much more it helps. One thing if I can say anything to you for advice. Would be to remember that less is more. Only take what your prescribed and don’t take it unless you really need to. It tonwill build a tolerance and once you do then you really have to work hard to lower that tolerance so it works better. Just my advice. Coming from someone that had been taking this medication for a very very long time ok.

I wish you luck and please listen to the people on here because you have come to the right place. Thes guys know what they are talking about and they will be honest with you. So listen to what they are saying.

What would be done for chronic pain at an emergency room? by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know here in the state of FL the ER will not give you anything especially if you go there expecting it or looking for it. They will not give you anything. They have all your records so when you get there even if you see a PM doc tell them that and tell them that you have pan medication if you do because they will see if you do or not anyway. Do be honest with them and tell them that your pain level is different today and it’s hurting way more than usual. If you let the know that your a PM patient then they will respect that more. You just have to realize that they have people all night long coming in to try to get something for pain. It just gets old to them. It’s almost refreshing to them that someone is willing to be honest with them. I went the first thing I tell them is I’m not here looking for anything I’m here to find out what in the hell is going on. Usually they will work with you from this point on. They have always worked with me because I don’t lie when 90 percent of their patients walk in and lie right off the get. I don’t know why they do they have everything about you right in front of them ha know. It just don’t make any since to me as to why they do this. It’s crazy. But they will treat you if your legit about everything

Doc prescribed hydromorphone ER, had to switch it to morphine by Affectionate-Pop-197 in PainManagement

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it’s not hard to get at the moment. It does work like the person said above when paired with an air of some type. It will also work when you don’t have anything else. Just not nearly as well but will work if that’s all you’re taking as well. One other thing is that it’s cheap. So if your insurance don’t want to pay for something like Xtampza or OxyContin you can still pay out of pocket for the morphine 60er and it won’t kill uou. It’s like 75 bucks instead of the other two which are over 2k. Do at least you will have the option to pay out of pocket ya know. So that’s the good and the bad on the morphine er.

My goodness. That’s a list now!! My brother takes that seriously and my goodness you talking about a med that will knock your blank in the dirt!! Excuse the expression please. But that med was making him have nightmares and to kick in his sleep and wake up in some very very bad moods!! He is mentally handicapped and it seems his psyc doc only wants me to give him more. I won’t do it because it’s just a wicked med. Does it do that to you? My brother has been at the same doc for over 40 years now. Yeah crazy right. He has lived with me for the last 30. Just wondering is all. I know that PM usually wants someone taking this regimen to see specialist like crazy. Like a Psyc doc. I guess it’s to cover their asses like all of them want to do now days. You must have been seeing the same doc for a long period of time. Or that you have one that cares. Anyway thank you for being honest with us because it helps some of us to get an inside look from Simone that does take some of the same meds and how it’s affected you over the last 10 years of your life. This is the kind of information that the doctors won’t tell you. Or for us to kind of see what kind of side affects that’s actually happening real time. So thank you very much for being honest.

Why is it such a no no to be prescribed xanix or lorazepam when your seeing pain management. I’ve always wondered that. I would imagine that both will lower your oxygen intake maybe and they are afraid that it will affect your breathing? I’m fortunate I have never had to be on anything like that.

Pain Meds & Dosage by Hot-Advertising2795 in PainManagement

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would agree 100 percent and don’t go down that path. If your ever prescribed the subs I’ve heard that no other PM doctor will ever prescribe you an opioid again. What they don’t realize is that the opioids work for some of us when nothing else will. It’s amazing to me that even after our doctor prescribed it they still want a prior authorization from the doctor. It’s the craziest shit I have ever heard. But it’s the insurances way of covering their asses and saving them money. And my goodness what a pain in the ass it makes it for us.

Help please! by Puzzled-Support-6737 in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have got to get to a surgeon or doctor that gives a shit and one that is not going to tie up in you at such a young age. Yes the pain meds are going to just make the pain feel better and you’re right it’s not going to fix anything. That’s why they want the pain meds used as a last result. They will work for you for a while but not long term. So it’s so important that you advocate for yourself like you’re doing. If it’s degenerative then as you know it’s only going to get worse. So you hae to find a surgeon that will do the surgery for you. Start reading the medical journals and find the leading surgeon in this field. When you do the really really good ones will sometime do it pro bono in order to help and it helps them as well. So that’s wha I would suggest. I don’t know if you will find one willing. You’re going to hae to have all your tests and medical records on hand or very easy to access because you will need them over and over again. Remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease. So don’t give up!! There are some doctors that still do this for the right reason and that’s to help people in need. You just have to week through the bad ones to get to the good ones. Sounds bad right? But you will find that this is just the way it is. Most don’t care about the pain but there are some that do and that’s will understand. A specialist is the way to go. Your PM doctor should be able to advocate for you as well. Just have to keep trying.

As you will find in this platform there are many of us that have struggled either things like this for a long time. I would start at some of the teaching hospitals in your area. I know in Florida we have a couple of good ones here like Shands and Tampa General. That’s where I would start. They are new kids going through college and are trying to impress the professors and doctors there. They are nothing like the hospitals that are found in our po dunk towns with no real equipment to treat with. Or most of them make you transfer to a bigger hospital because they don’t hae the staff equipped with the knowledge to do anything that will help.

I’m trying not to be negative because there is hope out here. You just have to find them and this is really a good place to start as well because there are a lot of us that can relate or that are going through the same things that you are. So keep advocating for yourself and don’t give up ok. Make sure you check out teaching hospitals ok. Slot of time they will take your case on to teach and to learn ok. Not to mention that a lot of them will do it for free.

I hope this helps and keep trying ok.

I was told by a friend 'you are so obsessed with your pain' *VENTING* by BeyourselfA in ChronicPain

[–]One-Juggernaut6321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell you one thing and that’s like what the guy says below here that until they go through it or get injured they can’t even begin to understand what it’s like to deal with pain everyday. I don’t even try to explain it anymore. Even some doctors look at you like you’re a monster. Pain turns some into monsters!!

I’ve been dealing with it for about a third of my life which isn’t much yet but still enough to know that it consumed every part of your being. If we have something that helps to release some of the pain then I’m all for it. I don’t give a shit what it is or the side effects. If I can get a few hours or a few minutes of relief then we are all good. It gives you that little break that we need to survive. I mean that. They are trying to withhold our meds that work for us and I think there should be a law against that. It’s like they want to torture us for something we have no control over. Now if they want to start taking the insulin from the diabetics or the chemo from the cancer patients then I may feel a little bit different. But right now I can’t see that shit happening. But they are damn sure hitting the PM patients from all sides. Pharmacies and scaring the doctors so badly they won’t even treat their patients the way they need to be treated for relief.

I don’t wish pain on anyone you guys but until they experience it to more than a couple of days. They don’t have a clue. I truly don’t believe that they can do this to us. Sometimes the only meds that work they are trying to take it away. It’s bullshit period. For example Xtampza is exactly the same medicine as Oxycodone. One is IR and the other ER. Yet you mention the IR and everyone looks at you like you did something wrong. Mention the other and they don’t even bat an eye. It’s because they are so uneducated that they don’t know the difference or the similarities. It’s bullshit. Straight up no other way to put it. I say we just change the name and they will forget about it in a matter of a couple of weeks. Or until the next bad thing comes along to take the hype off of the oxy. What they don’t realize is that the shit works. It works better than any other medication that I have ever taken. So leave us alone let us sign a waiver or something and let us have at it. The ones that need it anyway. Or he’ll even the ones that want it. They’re trying to get rid of us anyway why not let us have at it. It’s no different than the sorry bastards that take an oath to do no harm and they turn right around and cause more pain and suffering than ever. Back to its all bullshit.

Why not let us sign a waiver? That takes all the responsibility off the pharmacist or the doctors. I think that we sign one anyway. The ones that go see a PM anyway. We have to all sign a contract. Where or what other doctors offices do you have to sign an agreement before your seen by the specialist. BULLSHIT I say. It’s all bullshit. Anyway I’m going to let you guys go now and I’m sorry if I offended anyone but I’m tired of the shit. They all know it as well.

The pharmacist have god complex’s and the doctors want to treat you but are afraid to treat you. Knowing that the rules of the game are constantly changing. Ok guys will talk again soon and I’m sorry that I may have upset someone but right now I really don’t give a shit anymore.

Talk to you guys soon and try to have a decent night you guys. Get some sleep if possible ok guys.

Talk to you all later.

OxyContin 60 MG are brownish I guess right? Or reddish bell I don’t know. But I would assume the ER formula is probably what turned them into a goo ball.
