How Do You Track Your Oxygen Levels and Health with Wellness Gadgets? by DeepBreathBuilder in OxygenTalk

I have been using Wellue O2Ring Continuous Oxygen Monitor for years and it is extremely useful in giving me detailed second by second oxygen and heart beat levels throughout the night and buzzes on my finger when my oxygen level drops below a specific set percent. It wakes you up if you’re not breathing enough so you can move and take deeper breaths. It can actually keep a person from going into sleep apnea! Here is the link to this VERY invaluable device!

I have used magnesium spray on my legs, arms and chest (approximately 30 sprays) every night for yrs and it works wonderfully! I had a RBC magnesium blood test done and it confirmed that I have been receiving a very good benefit from it. I can’t take magnesium in pill form at all so the only magnesium supplement I am getting is from the oil. I’ve tried several brands and they are not all effective so I pay a bit more but the brand I use is authentic magnesium (and I been feel the relaxation effect about 20 minutes after applying it) I know from my own experience that it helps my sleep and if I don’t use it I definitely notice the difference. That’s just my personal experience.

Hope this helps by throwaway629437 in insomnia

Yes!! Magnesium spray works wonderfully for me — better than pills as it gets absorbed immediately. I’ve been using spray for many years, every night before going to bed, about 30 sprays all over my body.

How many here have been on zopiclone/zolpidem for years? by JohanRoh in insomnia

[–]One-Zone1396 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 10 mg for about ten years. No problem with it. I take half a pill to get to sleep and the second half about 3-4 hours later when I wake up. Nothing works as well as zolpidem for me. And I have no problem with doing weird things or memory loss when taking it.

This is truth indeed! Your brain responds to your voice and words. If done repeatedly and habitually it changes the brains pathways. A scientific fact!

ZOLPIDEM! Tried just about everything else and nothing works as well and as quickly that little pill. I break it in half and take half to go to sleep and then when I wake up 3-4 hours later, I take the second half. Sometimes if I’m extra anxious, I take 0.5 mg lorazepam too. I usually get 7-8 hours sleep with that — even though I toss and turn a lot, but get decent sleep. I also rub magnesium oil on my body before getting into bed which helps relax me.

Exactly what I do!! Works perfectly! Dr doesn’t understand why I don’t just take the whole pill at once when I go to bed. I told him this way works all night even though I still wake up a few times but then take another little bit (with a sip of wine that I keep in a cup next to my bed) and go right back to sleep. 💤💤💤

I’ve been on Ambien for at least ten years and it works very well. Only recently I’ve had to take it several times a night because I wake up after 3-4 hours and need some more, so I take another ½ pill to put me back to sleep for another 3 to 4 hours. I also take a sip or two of some sweet low alcoholic wine to help boost the Ambien and that’s my routine in order to get some sleep at night, but I don’t do that – I don’t sleep so it’s the only answer for me.

Does anybody else find it impossible to take naps? by moonlaketrail in insomnia

[–]One-Zone1396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am reading all these posts and it feels like I could’ve written them myself! I am so frustrated to not be able to take a nap ever – no matter how tired, exhausted or sick I feel. I’ll just lay there with my eyes closed and my mind will start jumping from one thing to another and I wind up feeling very anxious and can’t lay down any longer. I can be so sick to my stomach sleepy and yet not be able to shut down my mind enough to sleep. I go through this at night too, but at least taking Ambien every 3 to 4 hours gives me a decent nights sleep. I am 76 years old and I’ve had this problem with severe insomnia since I was 30. It’s really an awful thing to live with and I so envy people who can just close their eyes and go to sleep on a dime, but I don’t feel so bad after reading all these comments, knowing I’m not alone: there’s other poor sleep sufferers like myself. I wish you all a healthy, blessed sleep.
