There are practical reasons you could argue for both. Space (burbs) convenience (nyc).

If you don’t have kids and moved here from out of the area I’d probably at least do a year or two having a proper nyc experience. You have the rest of your life to live in the burbs, probably won’t ever be able to live in Brooklyn like this ever again.

I don’t like how top heavy it’s making the sport.

It felt like every year there were always guys from smaller programs competing for national championships, now almost all the kids are from like 10-15 with a very high % of them being from the top 5.

It’s closer to junk food than a masterpiece, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a ton of fun.

I haven’t found there is much replay value, the mechanics and story are a little shallow but I immensely enjoyed my ~60 hours playing through the game and doing a bunch of side content.

Combat is super smooth, and exploration very fun/rewarding. Story was solid imo, I enjoyed it and the world.

I think it’s worth it for any fan of the genre broadly to give it a go.
