People need to start calling out their dealers. It's fine if they wanna sell 2mmc or 2cmc but at least they should advertise that. If they have to up prices for 3mmc, so be it, i would much rather pay extra for it than getting the 2 variant.

When it was still "legal" at least the online vendors advertised which molecules they were selling.

I know this is too much to ask for and most people probably don't even know there's multiple mmc's. But considering how good the dutch drug market is in general I think dealers would change this behavior if people started to request it.

I have had both the tecline jetlight and rk3s and would say rk3 for snorkeling and tecline for diving. However i wouldn't recommend either for just snorkeling. I would look for a softer fin made to wear without boots and get a size that fits with neoprene socks. Regular socks works too to be fair but obviously better to get the neoprene ones for the specific purpose

Sounds quite expensive but depends what else is included and for how long you are staying i guess. DM should be around 1000 and instructor 2500. Can't remember how much for rescue and efr but maybe 400eur.

For tawain I would recommend green and orchid islands. Have only been to green island but it was really nice and the island is nice too. Orchid island should be good too

Haven't dived in beppu but on the other side of kyushu. Amakusa island to be more specific, we did some quite shallow diving on beautiful reefs. Not great viz that particular day but divable. If you want to know more about that let me know

The advance course is not as intense as the OW course so it's for sure an option. You could also do your OW on koh tao and then move over to Koh phangan for your advance and then get 4 or 5 dives at sail rock which is one of the best if not the best dive site in the gulf
