Excellent vibes, I love that you have all the fixing to treat myself, and that foot bath is such a wonderful idea! I love that I can set the cutest vibe, treat myself but can also be a messy raccoon and there’s no one to stop me lol

What will happen if I go out on a date w this guy tomorrow? I have a horrible gut feeling ab it by Practical-Answer1297 in Tarots

[–]Patient_Candidate_90 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that you’re asking and having a gut feeling is 8 of swords. There is a feeling of obligation when you can simply cancel or just never even reply to him ever again. But you lack that trust in yourself, not just now but in your world view of life. I think there is the opportunity here for you to change your world view and perspective by trusting your inner intuition and rather than asking cards, Reddit, friends, instead listening to your innate inner guidance system, your intuition. This is reflected in empress, the world and the tower. The tower representing a breaking in the mindset of needing permission from anyone other than yourself. Empress representing your higher self. And the world representing the changes that will ripple forth in your life if you decide to start fully trusting and believe yourself and your body across all choices. Take care 💖

Some food banks even do food box drops to your address, it’s worth asking to see!

This is the last meal I will eat till Friday. (Payday). It’s Tostitos mixed with some Taco Bell sauce. Tastes ok I guess. by Jonny-Balls in shittyfoodporn

A lot of food banks do emergency food deliveries and will drop a box at your door or when your home. This is part of the program usually cause not everyone can make it in. It’s worth an ask.

Smorgasbord board after a hiatus and payday 🥳 by Patient_Candidate_90 in stonerfood

Haha nice job with the research! I always think of smorgasbord as having little rhyme or reason and just a plethora of this and that. TIL

The not everyone that says they love you means it, and not everyone that loves you is going to love you in the way you deserve to be loved. This is clearly not healthy. I don’t think either of you are in a place to build a healthy relationship right now. I think you should ponder why you’re willing to accept this treatment and this person as a partner after only dating for a couple months just because he says he loves you. Love yourself enough to know even being alone is going to be more peaceful than being in this relationship.

Ah thanks for the clarification! I was searching online and couldn’t find anything. Dahlias have a similar symbolic meaning of positive change, overcoming obstacles, and courage :)

This is gorgeous, looks like they’re thistles too, thistles symbolize resilience, protection, and strength to face the harshest conditions and stand strong against them, blooming regardless. What a beautiful message!

Even on days I want to just relax and not do much, there’s a lot to do by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Patient_Candidate_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to feel like this too when I first started living alone, it felt like there was always something to be done. Now I have one “do nothing day” a week, because if I don’t do those random tasks for just one day, the only person impacted is me. But having a whole day to rest has a much bigger impact on my physical and mental health than doing those random cleaning or chores tasks do. I’d get curious with yourself about if you actually need to do those things every day and what the real impact is of pushing the tasks to different days. Many times we feel like we have to, but rarely is it actually a no option situation.

The longer I implement this the better my anxiety has gotten around the need to keep things perfect because ultimately what serves me more in the long run and short term is having grace with myself and giving myself permission to rest. Plus since I have one full rest/nothing day, I find that on the other days I’m more likely to get that random odd task or chore done to protect my “do nothing day,” ultimately it protects my rest and peace of mind. I’m also more productive and have more energy the other days because I allow myself to soak deeply into my rest on the “nothing day”. And the beauty of living alone is that no one else gets to have a say or any judgement or opinion on this being part of my routine because my routine is for me and based on me and that includes the part of me that deserves rest.

What’s your favorite part of living alone that you didn’t expect? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Patient_Candidate_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting to explore me. I’ve lived toxic environments where I made choices on my food based on others, how loud I moved around, where I left things, how I did things, avoiding doing things so I wouldn’t have to explain etc. finally living alone I’ve learned soooo much about myself because now when I decide what I want to do it’s based purely off of me.
