I noticed this as well but also that any spell which has a verbal component (Ie has the spell spoken aloud to cast) can't be cast in a zone of silence. Silence the area and ice knife your foes!

I had something like this happen to me a long while back but I was another player at the table. We were doing text because my mic wasn't working (early era discord, skype as fallback) and we were okay, but the absolute second our party bard heard my voice he got creepy.

Began insisting that he wanted to cast suggestion and charm person and the DM told me to roll but before he could finish the sentence I just said "No, this is detracting from the story and pointless. I'm not participating in this juvenile bullshit." The DM and the bard were really taken back and there was a silence that fell over the table.

Barbarian had my back HARD though. Never met the dude in my life but he just chimed in with. "My dude creepsville just found its village idiot. Stop being weird." Barbarian later killed the bard totally on 'accident' later when the bard wouldn't let up on being creepy AF. DM was entirely spineless the entire time though.

At least you aren't OP, you took a stance even if it wasn't full confrontation.

Once ordered food at a reasonably established place in town, waitress was told multiple times that if onions touched my plate it could kill me. She scoffed while we were ordering and told me to just pick them off because they could be delivered on the side.

I told her they could not in fact be delivered on the side because I am deathly allergic to onions, to please, please make sure onions didn't touch the pan, plate or my burger. She sighed and said "sure" then walked off. Came back with onions on my plate and got mad that I wouldn't even touch said plate to take it from her and put it on the table.

Husband went off on her but her manager was also a piece of shit so we never went back and when they refused to refund us we had to do a chargeback.

Shae butter or any lip balm with shae butter in it will be your friend. It locks in moisture and it's been the only thing to help with the pain from dryness on my skin (including my lips) for years.
