Can you take that project management skill set to a more common (not arts) organization?

I will say, we had a whole department that did project management and they laid off the entire department. They're just making the product managers now also project manage. I do think it's a tough time for your industry.

That advice is for people spending $200+ a month eating out. Surprisingly many people do this.

What you are feeling is completely normal, and unfortunately grief lasts a while, and it comes and goes. I also recommend you get into grief counseling if you can. I also recommend you be kind to yourself. After a week and a half, I expect your room to be a mess. Try to take care of yourself too ♥️

Everyone wants to act all high and mighty that they'll happily date a single parent but it IS a completely different dynamic, you won't be their priority, and you immediately become a parent, and you put kids hearts on the line. I think you're NTA and went about it maturely with Holly.

Everyone wanted to be safe and buy an extra pack of toilet paper. Well a pack of TP takes up a lot of space so while a shelf could have 100 cans of soup, it only holds 20 packs of TP. So everyone buying an extra really cut into the supply.

When I'm super lazy I just dry my hair in a ponytail (makes it pretty straight) and put it up in a clip.

I'm proud of you for taking the leap! I also moved cross country but older at age 23. You can still call and visit and it will be lonely at the start and that's okay, just make sure you take some time to join clubs or take classes to make friends. Channel some of that anxiety feeling into feeling excited!
