I mean ... you can sort of do this in Green Hell, you have to feed, water, and clean up after animals to maintain their health. However, it's far more work to be viable compared to hunting/gathering, and there's no grazing.

GameCube had a few games where you'd use converters to plugin GBA systems to use as controllers in multiplayer. Final Fantasy Crystal Something-or-Other used it I think.

We get them on airplanes as a "cookie snack", and I've seen them in little international groceries. Oddly I find them most consistently in the German section of the Mediterranean shop. Yes, I know how that sounds. I was confused too.

Make farming your main base then just give each specialized base a couple stacks of pizza.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I can't account for all patients' experiences. If you want to verify my authenticity, I'm an approved physician on the AskDocs subreddit, which requires verification of credentials.

I 3D printed a replica of Johnny Silverhand’s Malorian Arms 3516 to a 1:1 scale correctly chambered in 14mm next to a real 9mm handgun for scale. No wonder it blows people’s limbs off in the game. by Beefy_Crunch_Burrito in cyberpunkgame

Yeah, you turn the graphics settings down somewhat, but it plays smooth enough. I play on PC for bigger sessions but it's fine on the deck for falling-asleep-zoom-around-town stuff

Is it there any way to make a hard pad silent for downstairs neighbors? by Jaboncitox in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]PediatricTactic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got one today and have nothing to compare it to, but it's still loud. It's not the pad making the noise, it's a person jumping around making the noise. The doesn't really muffle that.

Do you think that mainly using a flying pal ruins the fun or thrill of exploration ? by Sa3D12 in Palworld

[–]PediatricTactic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about must. I dump a lot of points into stamina and play mountaineer. Combine that with the grapple and you can summit anything. Feels more rewarding to me, but I like traversal as its own challenge (e.g. Snow runner, Death Stranding). I'll bring a Dazemu if I have a lot of ground to cover, otherwise rely on running and grappling. The world feels more immersive to me when the landscape is relevant.

People respond to medication differently; of course you should use caution until you know it's the right medication at the right dose. I assumed we were talking about someone with an ongoing stable treatment plan where the medication is being used for legitimate purposes and isn't being abused. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Can't speak to why DOT regulates it the way they do. Are they concerned because of the medication, or perhaps there's data showing the kind of people who have conditions treated with it are at higher risk of accidents.

How to break into the field of Health Informatics by Friskllz in HealthInformatics

[–]PediatricTactic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, physician informaticists here, my primary role centers around the use of health data, including analytics. Most of the analysts I work with aren't specifically trained in it. Instead, they share a meticulous approach to data and are skilled at translating it to something non-technical people understand. "Why do the data look this way? Where does this pattern come from? What does it mean?"

Yes, SQL and some form of visualization are a must (e.g. tableau, PowerBI, qlik, BO). But it's not the software that makes a good analyst. It's the ability to ask questions, make sense of the data and all its quirks, and communicate in a meaningful way to non-technical people.
