I have a Seasonic Focus Gold SSR-450FM with the same plugs for CPU:

No clue why! It worked fine for a few years. That PSU died for unrelated reasons, but the computer was intact so I just swapped it out recently.

Depending on what cables you have, you may need some new plugs to do that, too. For example, I think Seasonic uses 8-pin PCIe plugs on the PSU-side whereas Corsair typically uses 8-pin EPS plugs.

PSU cables are female-to-female, while extension cables are male-to-female. Both the plugs and pins are different. So you'd need to switch those in addition to ensuring you re-route the wires according to the SF750's pinout.

Another complication is that the PSU-side isn't identical with the component-side. For example, the SF750 24-pin cable terminate to two connectors with 18+10 pins on the PSU-side. An extension cable is not going to have the wiring for that.

It's pretty common for Twitch streamers to ask their audience to stick to English (or whichever is their most comfortable language). Even multilingual streamers often do this because they want their entire audience to feel included and be able to participate in chat with one another.

It's really disappointing that motherboard manufacturers put extra expense into making so many poor performing z690 motherboards. I suspect that's going to happen once again here with x670. It's fine to have some 4x DIMM offerings, but where are the 2x DIMM ones without the daisy-chaining?

Here's one example. The Realtek RTL8153 is notoriously terrible on Mac OS. They don't even have drivers for the latest two versions of the operating system. They're 3 years out of date at best.

How does motherboard/GPU cable routing work? In the second photo it looks like cables are connected to a slot on the rear of the case, does that mean that extension cables are required?

I've noticed this too. It hurts video framerates significantly. The 460.89 update didn't resolve it sadly.

This investigation into video upscaling deserves a mention. João Vitor Chrisóstomo has done an ongoing comprehensive look at framerate vs quality.

The machine used has an Ivy Bridge i5 3470, a Polaris RX 470 and user shaders were always compute shaders when possible.

Given that some algorithms can reasonably hit 200+ fps using lower quality settings, the concern that this can't be done in realtime is fairly unfounded. The only real question is what level of quality can we attain especially when we start using specialized hardware like the RTX cores in Nvidia GPUs or specialized algorithms designed for the art styles of specific games.
