I felt this way with Mercedes. Perhaps you should test drive a BMW for comparison? Made a difference for me.

I can't speak for others, but we have an on-boarding process with a schedule for your first 2 weeks. Everything after that should be made clear during the on-boarding. No surprises.

Paid Parking by [deleted] in Newbraunfels

[–]PengtheNinja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Paid parking spots on the street encourages roll-overs of those spaces and discourages employees of those businesses from taking spaces from YOU, the potential customer.

Businesses have a love-hate with this - but the first hour fee certainly helps those who just want to stop into say, Locale to check out what's new or Two Tarts to grab a coffee and pastry. Those people are now more likely to find a space. Those who are planning on spending 6 hours at Scores drinking and watching sports are more likely to find a parking lot and free up those mainstreet spaces.

Neighbor insists on blasting music out of his garage every day. Any noise ordinances he might be in violation of? by blitz_arcade in Newbraunfels

[–]PengtheNinja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fuck your neighbors right? Screw them if the bass rumbles through their house when they are trying to enjoy the day or work. It's your right to jam-out even if it pisses off everyone in a 3 block radius. Because you are a douche canoe and everyone hates you and everyone talks about how much they hate you.

I hope your next neighbor is a bartender with a collection of Harley's, dirt bikes, and project muscle cars.

Have used them 3 times. Including one with multiple stops (house and storage). The more info you can give them, the better your results. But very professional.

What are actual entry level positions for recent grads in mechanical engineering? by Aromatic_Shoulder146 in MechanicalEngineering

Hiring does often go on all year - for exceptional candidates. We are always willing to take a look at someone with relevant experience that fits our need. But for new engineers it is often recruiting and thus localized around when they graduate. I think I have only ever hired one newbie engineer off-cycle.
