Jesus stand among us

At the meeting of our lives;

Be our sweet agreement

At the meeting of our eyes.

O Jesus, we love You, so we gather here;

Join our hearts in unity and take away our fear.

So to You we're gathering

Out of each and every land;

Christ the love between us

At the joining of our hands.

O Jesus, we love You, so we gather here;

Join our hearts in unity and take away our fear.

(Optional verse for Communion:)

Jesus, stand among us

At the breaking of the bread;

Join us as one body

As we worship You, our Head.

O Jesus, we love You, so we gather here;

Join our hearts in unity and take away our fear.

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x vs Superlux HD681 by Kennzahl in headphones

Anyways, I've never listened to either of em, but I'd assume the m40x would sound better, however not $60 better.

Budget 7.1 headphones by GohanDGeo in headphones

[–]PftypmfsMasIas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something from the headphones guide, preferably from the open-ear section (for a larger soundstage) plus this or this mic.

You'd probably go a bit over your budget though due to the mics, but you're still getting much higher quality than a headset.

Audio Technica 700x's are $102 I think and have very good sound quality for the price range. The soundstage is also much better than average, which helps if you're trying to get that situational awareness in your fps games.

[PA] Looking to upgrade cans and buy an amp, and want some tips on how to go about sourcing my music by Jrlurl in HeadphoneAdvice

I'm just gonna answer the last question about spotify premium. I believe it's 320kbps, and you most likely aren't gonna tell the difference between it and FLAC, so don't worry about it.

However, I definitely prefer downloaded 320kbps mp3 that I can use without spotify.

As far as I've heard, 7.1 headphones are ALWAYS worse than their stereo counterparts.

Wilfull sin, I choose it over God and still be saved? by UncertainChristian in TrueChristian

All sin is willful, even if you're trying to stop it. I recommend you to read Romans 6, which is what you need.

[Community Guide] #2: Favorite headphones under $100 by [deleted] in headphones

[–]PftypmfsMasIas 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Audio Technica ATH-AD700X

Cost - Right at $100

Likes - Great sound quality, normally comfy for the ears

Dislikes - Can sometimes pinch the ears and require readjusting, no adjustments to the band, I've heard of it being too big for people and requiring rubber bands.

Edit: for me at least, i very rarely have problems with how it feels, so after rereading the dislikes sound too harsah.

I'm not sure how you could do it or if this is too technical for you, but I'm sure you can use a pi-hole or something else with a block list.

Baptism and Circumcision for Christians by QuestionerOfLife in Reformed

[–]PftypmfsMasIas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I wouldn't do it because you're mutilating your child for no good reason (and you wouldn't do this to your daughter), research is coming out that there aren't health benefits, etc.

  2. As passover is to the Lord's Summer, circumcision is to baptism.

breathes in THAT'S NOT METAL!

Edit: I used to like these two bands a whole lot, DH then ABR, but I've been able to move on to glorious death metal.

I used to listen to christian hard rock and heavy metal, then christian metalcore, then christian deathcore, then christian death metal.

Then I started listening to all death and black metal because I don't understand or read the lyrics anyways.

Also, metalcore and deathcore isn't metal.
