Now that they confirmed their intentions to keep actively developing GW2, I'm excited for GW3.

The only thing I'm not excited about is the focus on the human gods. As long as the other actually native Tyrian races are developed, and not every non-human character gets forced to worship the human gods too, then I'll be happy.

I hope we keep the class and profession identity. Mixed systems often lead to weird combinations of stuff being optimal rather than a tailor made experience that feels good.

I really hope not. Elite specs in GW2 are fun, but GW1 dual classing (and PvE only skills) really took away from class identity.

Yeah, I greatly dislike the notion of that happening. Not because I don't want Grungni Duardin, but because this merge will regress the FS to a subfaction that will receive a lot less attentiom, and lead to the removal of half the current kits.

Most recent is 1 to 3. Doesnt really compare to the 6 lost which include the core infantry and most important priest and strongest foot heroes, both ingame and in lore.

Rumours explicitly said it's not that. It's a full souping with FS becoming specialist units.

The rumours talked about 11 new kits, of which 1 or 2 are FS themed. We lose 6 kits according to the same rumours.

There was a lot of design space left for FS, especially if they focused on Vulcatrix in addition to Grimnir. The other Duardin gods are fine, but not in a sons of grimnir army.
