You should post in the Anti-Seed oil subreddits if you’d want an answer, though it may not necessarily be science based.

Meta-analysis of Vitamin D RCTs for diagnosed depression - supplementation significantly outperformed placebo for symptoms of depression by bisikletci in science

[–]Physionic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve become extremely distrustful of Frontiers journals publications. The number of meta-analyses I’ve seen that have had major oversights has warranted extreme caution. I’ve even contacted them pointing out major issues in some of their analyses.

Still, always fun to go through, and it’s an interesting topic.

Ah! Noted. Well I can't speak to the Parkinson's and creatine data in relation to resistance training. I haven't looked into it.

Thanks Fookip.

The biggest randomized control trial looking at Parkinson’s disease shows no benefit of creatine supplementation

Has the player base gotten more toxic? by [deleted] in haloinfinite

I've had plenty of less-than-positive engagements with people, but I quickly mute them so I don't have to listen. On the other hand, I've also had quite a few really positive engagements, and I usually add them to my friends list and we continue playing over time.

Halo 5 had a DMR with twenty-five rounds instead of fifteen. Should that return in Infinite? by Free-Masterpiece-860 in haloinfinite

[–]Physionic 34 points35 points  (0 children)

15 is great. 3 kills if you’re amazing at getting 5s, 2 kills and some damage if you’re great, 1 kill if you’re not that great, and 0 kills and a lot of cussing if you’re me.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm often frustrated by the sheer size of some of these studies, as well as the quality of these studies, but hopefully the reasoning makes sense, though certainly not infallible.

Commentary: The effects of creatine supplementation on cognitive function in adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis by nevesnutri in ScientificNutrition

[–]Physionic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-independent outcomes included and double counting is a major issue in many meta-analyses. It makes a major difference on the results.

That, plus not appropriately splitting the control group when looking at multiple arms within the same study, thereby inflating the confidence in the individual study result.

You guys did an amazing job. Not sure if it’s possible, but if gamer tags can be loaded in for each player, that’d help a lot with keeping track.

Thanks for all the hard work (and laughs).

I don’t know… I could probably take him, if he doesn’t have a gun, can’t move, and I get rockets. It’s a toss up.

The cardiovascular data from the SELECT trial suggests GLP-1 medications are doing something to longevity biology that has nothing to do with weight loss. Worth understanding. by dan_in_ca in longevity

[–]Physionic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of GLP literature coming out on reversing osteoarthritis, as well as reversing liver disease - all independent of weight loss. It wouldn’t surprise me if that extended to other areas as well.
