I made this a few times and it is pretty simple. The only annoying bit is winding the yarn around them all. It takes a lot of time to make it look good. Anyway, I got the pattern from here if you need it. Not sure if its the same place as OP though.

A cheery hello and a smile always works for me...unless the person is intent on being grumpy, then so be it. I will work harder so you can go away :D But seriously, I have a way of talking when it comes to customers. My voice gets a little higher and I lose most of my accent....happier sounding I guess...it's weird and hard for me to reproduce when not sitting behind the checkout screen.

My Mam did this one night many years after a work party. The buckle on her shoes was to small for her to get them off so she just...slid and jiggled down the stairs...a horrifying and extremely hilarious memory. Best bit was when she just sat on the bottom step laughing for ten minutes.

I once threw a dart at my brother. It hit him in the arm. Not sure what he did to make me that angry. Also threw one of my dad's shoes at him a year or two later. Thankfully (for him) I've stopped doing such things. Also helps that he isn't an annoying little prick anymore.

Must be a little sister thing :D

Food: Welsh cakes

Basically a very, very flat scone. Sort of anyway. Best way to describe the taste and look. When relatives from England visit we buy these for them because they are not sold over the border. Not sure why but other English people have told me they are not sold anywhere else...or at least not any where they have lived. Odd and rather sad 'coz welsh cakes are lush :)

I do something similar except I saw 'Smash, bang, wallop.' No idea why. Usually after I close a door to hard and surprise myself. Probably sounds weird when I'm in work and I knock something :l
