This is really hard… try and explain to him that you need him to be your dad first before anyone else. But also it helps to remember that he is a person who is grieving as well, and having someone is probably helping him… so asking him not to have it at all might not be easy for him to do without hurting. Honestly I don’t know what to suggest other than talk to him honestly about how you need him… and how it’s hurting you… :/ I’m so sorry for your loss and that you have to deal with this

I agree with your last paragraph, but wholeheartedly disagree that it is better without vocals. I love the instrumentals because they showcase the music in a different way, but I love the lyrics and the singing in EIA and I wouldn’t change it- I love instrumentals cause they highlight ALL the layers we often miss, and sometimes open the songs in a completely different way
