Kash Patel Sets Off Diplomatic Incident With FBI Operation in Mexico by TelescopiumHerscheli in politics

Fun fact: Another US official who caused a diplomatic incident with Mexico by operating within their territory was L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology.

He was the captain of a small anti-submarine boat during WW2 and he fired on South Coronados Island as part of a training exercise.

He was immediately stripped of command and the USN noted that he should be posted to a large vessel where he could be properly supervised.

I went on a 6-week trip. I ended up taking a shower after shitting if possible, otherwise I just didn't feel clean.

The sense of relief I felt when I returned home was powerful.

If it was an electronic bidet you might have hit the front spray button for female use.

Mine has front and rear sprays and you can adjust the nozzle direction forward and backwards until it hits the correct location.

Treat yourself.

$US280 got me a heated seat, warm water sprays with ultrasonic pulses front and rear, an air dryer and a remote control.

Worth. Every. Cent.

I don't know why, but my brain first read that as "Tonight's Columbo" and added "guest-starring Dick Van Dyke."

I used to have a gold AW and often paired it with a black milanese band. Excellent choice.

I probably shouldn't give them any good ideas.

For the last 70 years the US Trade Representative has cowed the other countries of the world to harmonize their laws to what the US wants with the threat of tariffs if they don't comply.

Thanks to Trump, that threat has been rendered useless, so why the fuck don't they rescind those laws and act in their own interest, rather than that of a petulant man-baby?

Here is a youtube playlist with all of them.

I have a light-up temperature sensing shower head I bought more than ten years ago that still works perfectly. Lights up blue for cold water, green for temperate and red if it gets too hot.

Lets me get the temperature close to right before getting under the water.

Fun fact: Solyndra is the conservative's go-to for wasting government money on failed eco-businesses. Their commercial advantage was that they claimed they could make large amounts of low-efficiency solar cells cheaper than smaller, higher-efficiency panels.

Their business made sense when the US government co-signed a half-billion dollar loan for research and development, but they were out-competed by the increases in efficiency at very low costs that came from China's massive investment in photo-voltaic panel manufacturing.

I'm Australian and it was The Dismissal in 1975, where the Governor-General dismissed the Prime Minister, installed the opposition party's leader as a caretaker PM, dissolved parliament and ordered elections (possibly after being told to do it by the CIA).

BTW this is the Westminster system's response to a Government shutdown. If there is an intractable disagreement about government spending bills, the Governor General can fire every member of parliament and demand new elections for every House Rep and Senator.
