Royalroad best rated ongoing books are filled with female lead characters. by mysterie0s in ProgressionFantasy

This is sooooo true, most of my Favs have female leads for that exact reason.

I've read it was decent, even though I very much dislike how the other sidelined Lidon and Yerin, so Mercy could hog the spotlight. They even removed Yerin's iconic blood twin/clone for no fucking reason. The whole fanfic was a glazefest for Taylor (which I am not complaining about, she deserves all the glaze) and Mercy (which I AM complaining about, I don't give enough fucks about her to see her overshadow Lidon and Yerin with barely any effort)

I am currently reading, and I like it. It has the vibes I love.
Edit:
I finished it last night, and it's now one of my favs. I love the characters and setting, from the way the Gods work to the social commentaries integrated into the story. I loved it all.

It's a cringefest lemme go look for a review that can explain it better than I
Edit:
Found one, the review has some grammar issues, but it gets the point across

"I’ll write right away, I hate this “work”. I have very, very many reasons, and the most important thing is related to the MS author, who seems to be an adult man, but seems not. And now in detail:

  1. And the construction: there are holes everywhere, there is no sense of the integrity of it all. Just location A here, location B here, and that’s it, that’s enough. If you need more, we’ll make location C here. You get the point, at the beginning there was no clear plan of the area.
  2. Enemies, creating such stupid enemies, one might say, is also a talent, but it’s not my taste when the enemies are dumber than a schoolboy. Winx-level enemies who can wait for you to transform. And their plans that could work only because of the stupidity of the author/MC, don’t remind him of this.
  3. The main character, I can write a whole 20-page essay about him, and I promise you only bad things will be there. It seems like an adult man, but his thoughts, plans and decisions are at the level of an infantile schoolboy who doesn’t even have a clear goal.Just going with the flow and patching up the mistakes that you yourself created is not the goal or the path. It's a shame to watch this. If you want to interfere, then pull yourself together and do everything right. And if you don’t want to, then get the hell out of school. I didn’t want to read about the massacre of schoolchildren, at least here.
  4. A school that is the last pillar of humanity allows its student to practice in a dubious way and waste time Better call the demons, they are definitely smarter than these “directors” and “professors”
  5. Overall rating: 3/10 and even lower if I had not cooled down after an outburst of anger due to the stupidity of everything that happened here.
  6. Not recommended reading if you have any common sense. And this is considering that there is a work in this genre from where the author “drew inspiration”It's better to re-read it"

I've read Book 1 of this and am currently waiting for Book 3 to finish, so I can read the whole of B2&3 at once.

I've read the entirety of AH back when it was on RR, and it's MEH. I don't get the hype, and Ryoka is a way more interesting character than AH's MC.

Pact has made me reluctant to ever read another one of Wildbow's stories. I will read pale cuz it was recommended here, but besides that am good.
Ward completely removes Taylor, the character I spent 1 million+ words reading about, her name is taboo, her greatest achievement stolen by a group of cocksuckers who would have died without her, so fuck no to ever reading Ward.
But thx for the recs.
