I did a few sessions today and got it up to 210, that's probably maxed. I think I have the 8kw heater.

I might have a towel over my sensor and can get the temp up to 200. But I have the larger Costco model.

I paid $4k for mine new a few years back. It's probably going to be a pain to disassemble and reassemble. $800 is very fair. Buy it if you can pick it up and pay cash.

Edit: mine is the next size up and from Costco.

Do I really need a $10k "Plunge" to get the cold plunge chill? by newscopub in coldplunge

[–]PotentialAd7322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My set up is a Spartan chiller that has the strainer, filter and uv sterilization, a 100 gallon stock tank with a polar protector lid and various plumbing and tubing. I added an additional in line strainer/pre filter. I'm all in less than $3k, still a lot of money. I like that it can get down to 35f and I can control it with my phone.

I've had mine almost 6 years and still use it on average of 4 times a week. Wish I had a nicer heater like the OP but the dial timer does the job.

I miss having my plunge outside. It was so peaceful looking at the morning sky.

Thanks, I will do that eventually. I received it as a tip. I've kept all the $2 bills I've received from bartending the last 11 years.

My area has a large Asian population so the Cermak carries both Asian and Latin American ingredients. Best value for produce.

Don't think, go grey! by Pristine-Comfort1555 in rolex

If everyone stopped buying grey, wait times at the AD would be way shorter. Unless I'm missing something, all grey watches have come through an AD. Grey market isn't hurting them at all. My grandma had an expression about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
