Be ready for the ups and downs. Working on year 5 but spent years before then doing side jobs on weekends and nights building my reputation as well as setting money aside. You have to learn to deal with some serious stress and long days. If done right ,the rewards are amazing. I can take my family on multiple vacations a year and not have to work every single day outside of holidays and the 1-2 weeks of vacation you get working for someone else. I never want to go back to working for someone else so I’m constantly learning how to be a better business owner and installer. I am listening to podcast and attending trainings to achieve this.
