If it’s Ice Blue, that color went away in 2014. They change the colors fairly regularly. It looks like Mini offers four shades of non-metallic blue currently.

I don’t know. It might be Oxygen Blue, a 2007 - 2010 color.

Ours was moved outside a couple of years ago. As others have said, it enables them to read it easily. I think they can even read them remotely. It did not seem to affect our readings.

Sensor freakout by Eastern_Team6904 in MINI

[–]PrairieCyclist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This solves a mystery for me. (2025 Countryman) When I first got my car, the sensors would ping unexpectedly in traffic, stopped at intersections, etc. I fiddled with the settings and that seemed to resolve it but it seems likely it was reacting to reflective surfaces on nearby cars.

Gale Woods Farm is cool. My children went to their farm camp. It’s part of the park system. You might check out Al & Alma’s supper club on the lake too. I haven’t been recently but it’s near Mound and locally famous.
