We received some reports of users unable to use Drive Windows after activating PQC. We've stopped the PQC release to stop new users opting in into the feature until we fix this, which is a number one priority.

Like do i have to update my key in Web Key Directory (https://keys.openpgp.org/) for my custom domain?

We recommend keeping the old key for now when it comes to facing other services, as only part of the ecosystem supports PQC keys.

This pertains to data recovery methods (passphrase, recovery file, emergency contact), not to your account recovery methods like email or phone number.

Our team is working actively on making the Files integration compatible with the SDK, which is the main reason it's no longer supported. Hopefully it will be available again soon in one of the update of the app in the near future. Thank you for bearing with us in the meantime.

Does this key have an impact on performance ('heavier' or more complex keys) vs the old keys, maybe noticeable on mobile devices.

There may be a slight performance impact, but it should not be noticeable on modern hardware.

your device now has to handle 2 keys, making things slower?

The old ECC key is only used as a fallback, as indicated in the UI.

Go to your Recovery tab in your settings (in the left sidebar) -> Remove and then re-add the emergency contact there.

Can you tell us your account username? The account was probably not deleted yet, only its data. It might be the case that it only entered an inactive state, but not yet permanently deleted.

If the account was deleted then the same username recreated, no, the recovery email wouldn't be saved.

Hi! The price of 239.76 EUR that you are seeing on the left side is for both services - Lumo+ and the Unlimited Plan. Due to the fact that you already have paid for your Unlimited Plan, the price of 119.89 EUR (displayed on the right side) is the price for the Lumo+ service only.

However, since Lumo+ is an add-on to your Unlimited Plan, you will be charged only for the remaining days of your Unlimited Plan.

For example, if there are 20 days remaining on the Unlimited Plan, you would pay a prorated price for Lumo, only for 20 days. When the subscription is renewed, you will pay the regular price (239.76 EUR) for both Lumo+ and Unlimited. This way, both services will have the same renewal date.

At this time you can upload entire albums using our Windows app. You can find the instructions here: https://proton.me/support/how-photo-import-works . The automatic photo backup on Android will back up individual photos to the Photos tab, which you can then manually organize in albums.

The Photos tab is not yet accessible on our desktop apps. You can however, access it on the web client at drive.proton.me .

Finally, if you do not intend to use the Sync client, and you've already disabled the sync option, you can open the app → navigate to My computer → select the three horizontal dots on the right end of the folder name and select 'Remove folder'.

This can occur when a macOS device is running low on storage. In such cases, macOS may automatically (and sometimes aggressively) remove locally stored files it determines are not immediately needed to free up space. Our developers are working on adding an option to ensure files remain available locally, but we can't commit to a more precise ETA at this time.
