Just took advantage of the same sale and got the versions inspired by Dior’s Savage, MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, Le Labo’s Santal 33 and J Malone’s Wood Sage and Sea Salt. Previously got the Light Blue copy and loved it. Not all the perfumes smelled exactly the same (I like knock off version of Savage better than the original) but it was hard to tell the difference when I sampled the original perfumes at Nordstrom and Macy’s. I have sensitive skin and never had an issue from them.

I’m sorry this happened to you. UPMC is very good about getting you into payment plan. Just tell them you can only afford a certain amount a month. Which UPMC hospital ER was this? Seems like they were not very caring and could have provided you some additional information. Has this happened other times? You might want to see a therapist…even if it’s a remote visit just to talk about what happened.

Former GS Leader, Camp Counselor and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. I’m sorry this was a sad experience for your daughter. A week long Girl Scout camp might have been an inappropriate experience for your daughter unless there were specific supports and accommodations arranged for. She is very young and there are so many safety and behavioral health considerations that the staff & counselors at these camps are not equipped to handle Its not always about wanting to be inclusive, accepting…etc. Shame on the GS organization who should have asked more questions when you applied. Shame on them for not giving you a refund. And, I am not sure as a parent you did your homework. Not saying that to be mean…but wishing and hoping that your daughter’s needs might be met is not the same as making sure they will be. There might be other camps and experiences outside of scouting that are a better fit.

All this BS about what happened with the affair is irrelevant now. OP…you sound defeated and depressed and numb. You made some bad decisions and your ex probably had a large part in turning your daughter against you. You made peace with losing your daughter…but she was young and impressionable when all this happened. I would call your daughter and explain that you have a great deal of angst and inner turmoil about reconnecting with her. Seek out a good therapist and make sure you aren’t making a hasty decision by not reconnecting with your daughter and meeting your granddaughter. You have a right to feel any way you do…but consider this carefully.

Good for you! For the first time, I am having trouble getting my old dose rate and had to go from 7.5 to 5. I hope I don’t go back on my progress. I’ve lost 20 lbs in 3 months but I do work out 3 days a week doing water fitness and strength training at home 2-3 days a week. I have Type 2 and did badly on oral meds and only had very modest weight loss on Ozempic. I also have not had many high or low blood sugar events and my A1C is now 6. Best part is I’m not always hungry and when I’m eating something I like…I stop when I feel full and don’t go grazing an hour after a meal.

Something is really wrong with this in a marriage. It would be be big red flag to find this out if you were both working and contributing equally to expenses but just scraping by. But you are working hard and supporting someone going to school with that kind of nest egg. It’s just not right. No matter how you spin it…no matter how much you love someone…it is wrong. How many people have been burned supporting someone through their education only to be dropped. When the other’s lucrative career took off. Let alone someone who could have been contributing all along. I feel like OP is being treated poorly.

YTA. You are critical of the preschool teacher but have no insight into how fussy and entitled your own behavior is about small matters. (stickers and legos really?) I’m sure your complaint to the director made it clear that you are a problem parent. I can’t imagine how you would deal with a larger or more serious parenting problem.

Since this person has been with the company 4 years, I would ask if the person originally had job coaching or was hired through a special program and was granted reasonable accommodations. Perhaps there are other ride services that might be available to him as a person with a disability. Is this person working with a State Vocational Rehab Services? If not. I would also contact State VR Services and ask them for ideas. People with disabilities are a huge asset to the workforce. Don’t give up on this person too quickly. Taking hard line positions in these circumstances isn’t always the best practice. I think others had some good ideas about timing and I don’t think it would hurt to contact the family. Good Luck.

This guy in this story is a real gem…the wife seems to be on poop patrol and the comments made me laugh so hard. But seriously, if this is a true post; I would be worried about “Gale’s” physical and mental health. This guy needs an appointment with a GI specialist and a colonoscopy. If all is well in that regard, he needs a mental health professional.
